The House Of The Spirits Novels & Stories

Shaw-Meredith House was blazing like a beacon, flames leaping high into the night sky. Katie thought she could hear muted howls resounding from deep within the place, from its very beams and its walls, exploding from the dark heart of it, careening down fiery hallways and staircases. She imagined wispy shapes darting to and fro, spirits on fire, shades burning in the inferno, and wailing as their refuge was consumed. Whether any of it was real or not she wasn’t sure. A tremendous crash came from the dwelling as upper floors fell onto the ones below them.

“Alex, quick, look. The number of resentful spirits in the blood river is growing. They are pushing us forward. What exactly is there? Could it be Land of Ghosts?” Alex looked down and saw swarms of resentful spirits. He could see them without even activating his spiritual eye. That was because these resentful spirits had manifested physically. Not only that, but there was an even more significant number of resentful spirits floating up to join the group in pushing the boat. Waltz Fleur, Maya Howards, Zayne York, and the others also walked to the boat’s edge. After seeing this, they began to doubt their eyes.

“How many House of Conjurers are there?” “Well,” She licks her lips and tilts her head thoughtfully. “The houses as you know are divided into the first, four main elements of our race. House of Fire, House of Water, House of Earth, and House of Air. Under these four are the Sub-elements and they are divided into thirteen houses. There’s the House of Ice, Snow, Frost, Hail, and Sleet for the Water Sub-elemental's, House of Iron, Vines, and Metal for the Earth Sub-elemental’s. House of Smoke, and Heat for the Fire Sub-elemental’s, House of Whirlwind, Hurricane, and Tornado for Air Sub-elemental’s.”

When we got home, there was Euri, who was enraged when she spotted Kazuo. I could see she was enraged. I can see the flames erupting from her translucent body. This is a furious Demon! "What is this? Why is there a Ghost hanging around you!?" She exclaimed, actually— She isn't upset that Kazuo is hovering around me. She's undoubtedly upset because I failed to keep my promise to her. I understand how concerned she was; conversing with other spirits is a foolish thing to do. I clapped both of my palms, forcibly smiling against each other.

He lost that person and he killed whoever came in his way. Not even heavens could stop him. He wanted the end of the whole humanity and that was when Zayn fought against him. He was on the verge of death when with a little help from someone he casted a blood spell to lock the Wolf spirit in that house. From that time, no one stayed there and the whole area was emptied by wolves and humans. Only Hyun's people stayed behind hoping for their master's return. After staying in that house, Hyun nearly forgot about the incident. It was a long time and he was all alone by himself. Anger turned into grief and slowly he accepted everything.

“I need a human's affection like I need a sword in the side. Like I said, she is my decoration, nothing more. Cute, but a useless trinket. She cannot dance, can she?” “We both need a human's love. That is what house spirits were made for,” Iosif said softly, his beady eyes downcast. “For Dima and Liza it is different. They are not tied to humans like a bannik or domovoi are. Do you not long for a bather to leave you fir branches and soap clippings in the sauna like they used to before peasants gave way to comrades?”

I mean there’s no way that ghost are real right? With that in thought, Blaine decided to head downstairs and get a glass of water. He pass by the hallways and notice that there’s a lot of painting in this house. He never know of this fact because eversince he move in this house, he never really look around. He will go at work when the sun is not yet rising and he will go home late at night. Plus the fact that they rarely turn on the lights so he didn’t really have the chance to saw the paintings that are hanging in the wall.

Sophia confessed, taking out a comfortable dress. “Did I?” Sophia exhaled before turning around. “Don’t change the topic, Hunter. Why did you…” “Because I love you, and you’re not allowed to ask any question about my ways of showing love.” Brandon said, cutting her in between. Sophia didn’t raise that topic again after listening to his words because it was of no use. She thought to repeat something like this later instead of arguing. “If I’m not wrong, then there are now two spirits in the house,” Sophia said when Brandon helped her in wearing the clothes. “And the bad news is the second spirit is still in the house.”

Guilt and loss ate at me with me seeing no way out. I lay on the cold floor, drifting in and out of consciousness. I lost the sense of time as everything span all around me. I kept drifting off to this dark place that had my skin shudder, it smelt and felt like death, having me kick and fight to get out. The darkness was pulling me in with the screams loud in my ears so I fought harder and harder to get out. I could not give up, I could not give up just yet. I had to fight for my baby, I had to try my best. The pull got stronger and stronger with a voice, a dark deep voice calling at me and it had me scream so loud I thought I would faint. I could feel souls drift all around me as I tried fi

“Yes, such a lovely gift I’m blessed with. It is very honorable to become a wraith of mine. Right as the host dies I collect their meager little souls and give them a new purpose.” “How can they join the stars without their soul?” I utter completely flabbergasted. His smile broadened, “They don't. If my wraith dies then the spirit is released and they join said stars.” He waved his hand as if waving the thought away. “My Love how are you faring?” I swallowed unable to dismiss the idea of those poor spirits locked away from the afterlife. “I… I’m well. The view is lovely here.” I changed topics quickly.
