Everyone was dead, but me. Turning back, I finally put a face to the voice. Her skin was covered in freckles and her hair was a wild brown, like she had stuck her finger in a socket. She was carrying a gun in her hands, but what stood out to me was her outfit. I’d seen it once before, in school. It was the Hunter’s uniform. The patch on her arm confirming it. Hunter’s were mercenaries for hire. Killers for hire, really. The non-magical in the supernatural world. They once were on a death march against all supernaturals, but now they were just raised on how to kill them and were sold to the highest bidder.

Ruth didn't seem too pleased to see me. "Oscar Wilde, good to see you." Marco Winehouse said. He was the one in charge of the meeting, and he was the one with the intel. I sat down in the pub and paid for everyone's drinks as a token of my appreciation for them coming all the way to meet with me. "What is going on, guys? My uncle was beaten up, and my pack raided." I complained, and Marco exhaled. "You won't believe this shit, but Giles Hunter is back. His sect has done a lot of harm." Marco claimed, and I looked at him, stunned.

Hunter declared “I insist, please,” she begged him. She got her phone and called Melanie. She asked to meet her as soon as possible. Being a good friend, Melanie drove to Ludo and found her with Hunter. “Is that….?” Melanie paused. “Yes, that’s Hunter. I don’t have time to explain things now but did you hear about what happened in Chisoti village?” “Yes, don’t tell me he did…” Ludo interrupted her, “No. Apparently, he’s the hero and there are some people looking for him and the last surviving child of the dead chief. He needs a place to crash.”

Hunter pov "Now we hunt",Mitch makes a call and enforcers flood my house looking pissed. Brent looks worried as he stands there waiting. "Is Hannah hurt? Where is she?",he looks ready to flip out. "She is fine, I say, sleeping right now Lucas is with her. She doesn't know about the threat yet",they all nod and Brent sighs in relief. refuel and watch your backs",Mitch says then they all leave. I sigh as I sit hating that our mate is once again in danger

“Find them.” Juniper’s stomach knotted. Adrian took her hand. “Run.” The Hunt They bolted into the trees. Footsteps crashed behind them. Flashlights cut through the darkness. Juniper’s heart raced. Her breath came shallow, fast. Adrian held her wrist tight, guiding her. Ethan lagged slightly behind, favoring one leg. “Damien won’t stop,” Juniper whispered. Adrian’s grip tightened. “Neither will we.” A shout. Then—gunfire.

Hunter said to them . " She's our sister too ." Charles said to Hunter . " Yes ,yes .. Charles is always right ." Hunter said as he is always a bit scared to Charles since they are fifteen . " Then , so be it . " Enjoy yourself . I had to handle few matters . " Hunter said as he wink to Adrian . His man had found the headquarters of The black Trick gang that had been posted about Adrian's wife in the underground gangs websites.

Jose pointed out and the others hummed as he set up his rifle and pointed it in the direction of the border. Star didn’t know who they were talking about, but she too found herself grateful for him. “Hold it… Hold… Now!” Frank guided them as they saw groups of Hunters holding guns appear in their vision, he was an experienced archer and had more hunter names on the tip of his arrow than the rest of them. Star fired her first arrow, praying that the screen they put up would protect them long enough to take some of the hunters out. They were able to immobilize a few before the rest were alerted to what was going on when all hell broke loose. Wolves flowed in from front and back, there were few

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest.
