As she left the cave, Lucy's breathing became labored, and her vision became so faint. I know the perfect spot,” he says, as he aggressively rubs her ears and head. When we’re in the woods, somewhere in Canada, Lucy immediately gets bold. She feels empowered like never before, filled with vampire blood and the surge of having our mate at our side. She stalks a moose and I sit helpless and nervous. The animal could easily trample us, a hundred things could go wrong.

Marcus slammed the trunk shut and clapped his hands together. “Let’s hunt,” he said, striding to the driver’s side.
