I went to the small bathroom and checked the faucet and lo and behold there was running water still. Alice came to see when she heard the sound of water. ‘What is that place?’ She signed her eyes wide with wonder and excitement. I chuckled. “I think this place belonged to one of those survivalists, but I guess he wasn’t living in this world anymore.” Alice hummed and went back to the supply room.

But despite those measures over the next couple of weeks the virus worked its way remorselessly through the remaining 5% of male survivors. “By 12 noon on the 12th of January 2167,’ said Jessica, as she finished her story, “there were no men left on the planet.” I stared at Jessica my jaw slack not sure if this was a dream. “What are you saying?” I asked dumbly. Jessica took my hand in hers and looked into my eyes. “I’m saying, honey, that you are the last man alive on the planet.” I gazed at the beautiful face for a long moment - I couldn’t see any sign of deception there. She believed what she saying. But there was no doubt in my mind she was completely insane.

“How could I not blame myself, James? No one from them survives. They are all gone and it's—” Just before I could finish my words, I was suddenly interrupted when someone spoke not far from our direction, which captured my focus. “Emerald, I was still alive.” I stood up from the ground when I saw Allison. She was wounded and struggling to walk as she approached us. My reaction brightened seeing her alive. “Allison?” I mumbled, meeting her. “Yes, it's me, Emerald. I was the last survivor. All the wolves are gone now a-and my father as well…” Allison blurted, her voice trembling when she mentioned her father.

I looked at the ground in disappointment, knowing there weren’t any clear answers. “Except for one,” Petra added. My eyes widened as I looked at her. “One girl who claimed to be one of the remaining survivors of the first captivity.” Sophie placed her hand on mine and tightly squeezed it. Everyone was confused, scared, and frightened with all of these revelations. It scared me more for the things waiting for us in The Yonder. “She said a deal was made.” I felt my heartbeat against my ribcage and my stomach-churning. Lord Victor’s voice echoed inside my head. I felt nauseous.

It is titled 'The last survivors by King Jaywon' and there was a stain of blood in the picture... It is gonna be really horrific. I walked to where a reading table was placed and I placed the book on it. And I then proceeded to clean the Library..
