Kingdoms fought for power, dominance, fame, influence and survival. The weak lived under the mercy of the strong, warriors fought to both acquire and secure what they had already accumulated, the only route to peace was war: deadly wars of bows and strings, arrows and archers, every man's soul lingered on his ability to make use of the sword. Blood bath was a daily routine, the weak were slaves to the strong, and the bravest of men were the fortresses of every kingdom. Adesuna was the fortress of the Odudu kingdom, through his bravery, he became an historic figure.
