A Squire's Journey

A Squire's Journey

Undaunted by the adventure, Julie sprang into action, “I'm in!” Days of hard riding later, the Grand Library greeted them as its white marble columns reflected the sunlight, giving it a prestigious glow. Located in the east of the Kingdom, where many universities are situated, a large number of people wanted to visit the Grand Library to study or borrow books. The crowds were so numerous that a pin couldn’t even get through. “Make way! We need to return some books to the Restricted Section!” Julie shouted. The entire crowd looked at them with pity. To them, Julie and William are dead people walking. Some saluted them as the pursuit of knowledge has no equal.

The Stolen Relic

The Stolen Relic

The door creaked open before his hand actually touched it. “Come in.” The elderly voice beckoned. Blake grabbed Clarissa by the arm and escorted her into the small library. The room had a single round table in the center of it. The two advisors, Blake and Clarissa completely surrounded it. On the table was a single candle that cast shadows as much as it lit the room. In this glow, the men looked even older. The shadows extended wrinkles and blackened eyes. They were already nearing retirement and their bodies had not aged as graciously as the old king. Although they were born during his reign, which meant they were a couple hundred years old. Their faces were long and slender covered with th

The Rebirth of the Author

The Rebirth of the Author

Felicity said, who had already closed her favorite fashion magazine. Ayleen replied, “What does the library have to do with not meeting any guys?” Jasper had returned and was sitting in the empty chair, but he didn’t seem inclined to join their conversation. Elizabeth clicked her tongue. “Of course there are. Are there any handsome guys there?” “Yes,” Ayleen replied quickly. Felicity yawned. “You mean a guy with thick glasses and a nerdy look, right?” “Or … a librarian?” Elizabeth retorted exasperatedly.

Never To Be Loved Again

Never To Be Loved Again

Before Alicia could reply, Ash Pavard parted his lips open and said, “Hmm… Sir Killian, I think you have some sort of misunderstanding. The book is quite famous and renowTed for its humanities of sorts. It looks like you don’t know of this.” The young men who wore a burst of cheerful laughter early on reddeTed immediately. Their faces were similar to a tomato. The other gentlemen looked at them with pity while the noblewomen clicked their tongue and shook their heads. Ash Parvad looked at the queen with eyes of glinting fascination.

To Love A Vampire

To Love A Vampire

"I can't believe you'd tell me all of this." "Why not?" He asked and I looked down at the ground. "It's just something you'd tell a friend not really an enemy." He paused."You still consider me an enemy?" He laughed a little as he moved to a set of double doors and threw them open. I looked at him in wonder. "Why do you find that funny?" "I don't find it funny. I find it smart." He gestured for me to walk into the library. "Ladies first." The library was painted an earl grey and the floors were white with silver mosaic. A medieval-looking chandelier hung from the ceiling and the bookshelves were white, contrasting well with the black tables and chairs.

To love a beast was good, but this one was even better! So captivating/intriguing, and beautiful character progression throughout. Such a good mix of suspense and drama but lighthearted laughter/comedy. Super excited for the next! Amazing job author! :) Author, when will the next book be on here?

In my 5 years of working as a librarian,I never knew how exciting it was to come to work, for the past two months,a cute guy had been coming into the library flirting with me,winking at me and recently leaving me naughty letters whenever he returns a book. He was a light skinned guy, brown curly hair,6,4 and had a slim but athletic build,he wore glasses and was brainy, exactly my type, he never gave me his number so I looked up to seeing him in the library.

The Known Gentlemen

The Known Gentlemen

What’s with the boys and giving looks, she thought. “Riley skipped the class to drop off Michael to his home. And she said she’d go back to her place. And I don’t like attending the class without them-” he looked into her eyes. “-so I thought of looking up some books to prepare for the tournament. I didn’t know you would be here.” He nodded and handed her the book he was looking at. She glanced at it and realized he was picking books for her. She started checking the first few pages of the book. Out of the blue, he asked, “Have you ever made out with someone in the library?”

The Pensive Gentleman

The Pensive Gentleman

Bella notices and clears her throat, dropping her glass on the small square table between us. “You all know how D’amato women can be. Very demanding.” I don’t miss the emphasis on ‘D’amato’ which somehow makes all the women stand straighter, their eyes now holding more interest and respect than before. “Forgive our manners, we haven’t seen her in a while,” the shorter lady says. “They’re my friends,” is all Bella says as an introduction, and I’m grateful for it. The ladies however, join our table, and while they catch up with Bella, I nurse my drink, sipping slowly and carefully.

Thanks for this masterpiece, Au. I had a hard time letting go Christian and Hannah’s story, but I think Marciano and Angelica’s even harder to let go. I was sad for Angie thinking she might not have her own child and as a woman, that is the most devastating thing but then there’s the fvckng twist

The One Way Ticket

The One Way Ticket

As he walked into the library which had a majestic staircase which curved and veered upwards onto other floors stacked with books, like a toothpick with lots of grilled pork attached to it. “You have to drop your bags over - there,” the chief librarian - a fat woman who found it hard to breath and spoke through her nose said. “We appreciate bibliophiles and bibliomaniacs but not thieves.” Gerey stuttered for a second. How was he going to smuggle Jeyrin in. Little did he know that...

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Grand Old Master Yorks guffawed. "Don’t say a word to anyone about what happened today, kid." "Why are you so cruel, Grand Old Master Yorks…" Grand Old Master Yorks placed his hands behind his back and swaggered to the library. It was a complete mess in the library’s compartment 48 area. The librarians had been tidying up for God knew how long and was panting in exhaustion at the moment. Grand Old Master Yorks said with a dark complexion, "Must he mess up the place when he’s just here to steal books? Look how exhausted my apprentices are because of him…”

When i first started reading this book, it was hard to get into at first but then I couldnt put it down! I fell in love with it. Yes the english is somewhat hard to understand at some points but the plot and the characters are to die for. Although I do hope that Jay finds out that Zetty is his child
