Even moving her feet on top of Dawn’s shoes was a struggle for Aqua. As a mermaid, she only had one tail. However, after the transformation, she had two legs. They were difficult to control separately, and Aqua found herself tripping over tangled limbs. Even with slippers protecting her feet, Aqua sometimes cried out in pain from stubbing her toes that remained unprotected from external elements.
Clearly, walking wasn’t a second-nature skill. Unlike other baby animals, it took the average human child about a year to start learning how to walk. Thankfully, Aqua was willing to skip the crawling stage even if she did not quite understand how to
