The Locker Room Meghan Quinn Novels & Stories

Hayden glared at Hugh and warned him, “Don’t try anything with her. She’s with Mr. Bucham. Quinn is the daughter of a gym owner. She learned self-defense as a child and can really pull a punch. She’s a coach at her family gym, Power Fitness. “She’s a straightforward girl. She doesn’t play any games. It’s been years since I’ve met such an honest person.” Hayden saw nothing but scheming people around her, except for children but even so, some kids were cunning.

Jordan huffs as she runs faster to keep up with me. "It's in my contract. Your dad and friends have an open invitation." She smiles and I wish I hadn't removed her lipstick earlier. "Quarterbacks are so spoiled," she says on a laugh. We run a few more miles and finish up our warmup. There will be a short meeting before official practice begins. Again, I find it hard to resist taking Jordan's hand as we walk back to the locker room. I've turned into a complete pussy when it comes to this woman and I honestly don't give a damn. The glaring emptiness of Kelson's locker is no longer staring at us because thankfully Bobby has moved Fergus' items over. There is a problem, though. Each locker has a

He gulped and said, “You should change.” She ignored Brian and let him in. Then, she locked the doorknob, two barrel bolts, two chain locks, and two sliding latches with padlocks. Brian frowned and asked, “Since when did you have so many locks?” “Today,” Megan plainly answered. She pointed to the couch and said, “Let’s watch a movie.” Megan quickly turned and played the movie on the DVD player. She settled next to Brian, purposely rubbing her bosom against his arm. She smiled at him before playing the film.

The audacity of it pissed me off more than it should have. I was still turning the whole mess over in my head, jaw tight, when the locker room door burst open again. Megan—my twin sister—strode in like she owned the damn place. A couple of my teammates looked up immediately. “Hey, Megan!” one of them called out. “Looking sharp as always. Good to see you.” Another guy, still lacing his shoes, grinned. “Megan! You sticking around for the after-party?” She waved them off with a charming smile, but her eyes were already locked on me. Before I could react, she launched herself forward and wrapped her arms around my waist in a tight hug, pressing in close. “Hello twin.”

“This is the only warning you are getting. Everyone in that room is expected to be on the training field by 7:00 am. There will be consequences if you are not, and you will all pay if even one of you is missing. I hear April yell through the door. “Go take a cold shower and stop being a dick. Get your male hormones under control.” I already took a cold shower I mumble to myself as I make my way back to my room and slam the door, because now I may need another one since the hallway and my room are filled with Meg’s scent. I opened my window hoping to clear the air or I wouldn’t have a hope in hell of making it to training on time myself. Meg POV “Megan, where’d you go?” Those are the words th

she added as she kissed his cheeks enthusiastically leaving purple toned lipstick behind and deliberately not telling him about it. Emily took Meg inside, showing her to the powder room, and watched as Owen wrestled Megan’s luggage down the hall to the bedroom the band had decided would be a spare. “How long is she staying again?” Owen whispered as he went past. “Are you sure she is not moving in?” “I heard that,” Megan swatted his behind as she stepped out of the bathroom, and Owen flashed her a grin. “Alright, grand tour, sis,” she linked arms with Emily. James was in the lounge area trying to look casual and stood when they entered. “Hey, Meg,” he flashed her a grin that was pathetic in i

“The ranking system keeps everything in order. And just so you know everyone here follows it.” “Of course they do.” I said under my breath and didn’t say anything else as she stopped in front of a locker and tapped her fingers against it. “Locker 246. This one is yours Aria.” I stepped forward hesitantly as I looked at the tall lockers, they were bigger than the ones we had back home. I turned to ask Maya something about keeping snacks in them when I noticed her staring at the locker beside mine. Locker 245. I saw something flicker across her eyes that looked like hesitation and a bit of fear?

She smiled up at me. "Then you're in luck, baby, because everything I have planned for this weekend is you and me together." I paused, considering. "Well, except Friday night, when I have to be in bed alone early, and Saturday during the game. I love you, Mia, but I wouldn't want to have to protect you from Tennessee State's offensive line on the field." She laughed. "True." I held the door for both girls as we went into the lobby. Quinn glanced around with wide eyes. "Wow, this is beautiful. It makes Birch's buildings look pretty utilitarian."

Curiosity had the better of him and he peeped inside. Three large screens were the only source of light in the room, and someone backed him in a gaming chair, tapping away at the keyboard. He moved in quietly and realized it was Megan. The glow from the monitors bathed her face in soft blue light, her brows furrowed in focus. She didn’t even notice that someone else was in the room. The screen displayed different codes and symbols that looked like something encrypted. “What are you doing?,” Connor drawled. Megan jumped slightly and spun around in her chair. “Jesus-”
