The Kings Omega

The Kings Omega

The Old King's Road was a ghost of a path, a ribbon of packed earth and loose stone that clung precariously to the mountainside. It was a journey measured not in miles, but in the slow, grinding ache of muscles and the perpetual dust that coated the tongue. Kaelen and his ten men, clad in the rough-spun wool and worn leather of pilgrims, moved with a grim, tireless purpose. They were not a king's retinue; they were a pack of wolves in sheep's clothing, their true nature concealed but not extinguished.

From Shadow to the Longest Sun

From Shadow to the Longest Sun

One girl clutched a rag doll, whispering to it: "Doctor will fix you." My throat tightened. Six years ago, I walked away from the lab that could have stopped this. Today, I walk back. Palm fronds whispered. Dust stirred, kissing the worn leather of my boots. The tarmac shimmered under 40°C—a heat meant to blister. Yet my skin only warmed. Gentle. Familiar. True. I am a daywalker. I always was. The humanity in my blood never faded. Sam stood silent by the sedan,“No devices past here.”

Choas and change

Choas and change

Eliora whispered, “Where no one comes back the same.” James looked at them all. “That’s where the fire will run. But first… it has to walk there.” That night, they left Makoko. Not in buses. Not in secret. They walked. Thirty of them now — joined by strangers who’d witnessed miracles and refused to stay behind. As they moved through the city, people joined them. Some laughed. Some cried. A few threw stones. But the fire walked. In song. In silence. In presence. And Lagos, for the first time in decades, watched.

The Girl Who Broke the Silence

The Girl Who Broke the Silence

She saw freedom stitched into sequins and dreams that stretched beyond the horizon. Her throat tightened. Could she really do it? Could a girl from Umuaka truly step into that world? She lifted the heavy pot onto her head and began the long walk home. The road was uneven, dust clinging to her ankles, but each step carried the rhythm of determination. The chatter of women, the laughter of children, the creak of cart wheels — all of it blurred into a distant hum. Promise focused only on the sound of her own breathing, as though the world itself was daring her to endure its weight.

When I Walked Away

When I Walked Away

“So it turns out finding someone isn’t that hard after all.” Back then, she had stood me up, so I’d gone on a business trip alone. On the way back, my wallet was stolen overseas. I didn’t know the place, had no money, and went three days without food. In the end, I fainted on the street and was only saved because some kind fellow countrymen helped me. After I returned home, I asked her why she never tried to find me. She’d scoffed dismissively. “You didn’t tell me when you were coming back or give me a call. How was I supposed to know where you were?”

The Beta's Human Mate

The Beta's Human Mate

I don't know what time it is, and I don't know where my dad is, but I need to get out of here. Once I get outside, I take a sharp breath. It feels like my ribs are broken, and it's so fucking cold. But I start walking. And I walk the familiar path. The walk that normally takes half an hour has to take an hour. It feels like a lifetime, that's all I know. I'm losing my will power, and it feels like I have a lifetime left to walk. Just keep going. Keep going. I gasp, a sharp pain shooting up my back. Fuck it hurts so bad.

A Song of Longing

A Song of Longing

Anthony kept Linda in the basement for an excruciating three days, without a morsel of food or a sip of water. Come the dawn of the fourth day, he ordered the basement door swung open. The air was thick with the stench of neglect. Anthony held his hand over his nose and mouth. "Ready to make that trip to the courthouse for a divorce?" Linda, her appearance a mess and her body frail, struggled to her feet, her eyes wide with terror. "Anthony, just let me out, I'll do whatever you say."

Reclaimed by My Alpha

Reclaimed by My Alpha(Reclaimed by My Ruthless Alpha)

Maybe Max got that trait more from me than I wanted to admit. We walked and walked and walked. The ground was uneven and painful underfoot, making it impossible to walk without looking at where we were stepping. The rock formations were like jagged claws in the distance, never seeming to get closer, and there was never a breeze to cool the heat in my lungs. The most disturbing part about all of it was that there was no wildlife. No sound at all, really, except our footsteps and our labored breaths. No birds. No small critters. No plants.

Obsidian Eyes
I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

“This is where the Ashwalkers come when they want to be seen.” Emma’s fingers twitched at her sides. The air felt heavier here. Thicker. Like something was pressing against the world from the other side. Long turned to her. “You need to go alone.” Emma blinked. “What?” “They’ll never speak to you if we’re all here,” Long explained. “They’re not a tribe. They’re a memory. One you have to awaken.” Steve bristled. “You want her to walk into a cursed gorge alone?”

Maeve: The Rise Of The Gamma

Maeve: The Rise Of The Gamma

Maeve POV We walk down the hills. We have been walking for a long time, and it’s getting dark, but we are almost there. The walk could have taken longer, but we are strong, so it can only take us a few hours. “How do you feel about Felix's betrayal?” I asked.
