The Lycan King's Mate Ava Novels & Stories

Right now I could feel that she was mentally unstable. “I’m sure you feel so clever now,” she laughed. “But I want to know how you did it. What did you do Lyra? To the Lycan King? What did you do to make him bring you here? Did you poison him or did you seduce him? I can do that. I can fucking do that. I’m sure if he could go for a washed-up whore like you, he would love me. Yes. He should do that.” I shook my head quickly as I knew if Anna tried to do any rubbish to the king he could have her killed.

“She is gorgeous! How does it feel to be mated to the King? Are you ready to be the Queen?” Most of them bombarded us with questions while Hunter’s security team surrounded us and we were assisted to the heavily tinted black SUV. Hunter seems to have been accustomed to ignoring them as if all this time he had garnered the ability to tune them all out, but I, on the other hand, did not have that ability yet. “Your Majesty! Just a word, please! Describe how you feel being with the King!” “How did he find you? Did he sense another Lycan in the area?”

Then, he tightly grabbed my wrist and loudly declared to everyone present, “This is my mate, Emily! I finally found her!” It was like a declaration of sovereignty. The old king with the crown spoke to Prince Leon in a hoarse and dignified tone, “So, she is your destiny’s mate?” At the same time, he looked at me with disdain. “This girl looks no different from an ordinary female wolf!” “Nick, we must accept the arrangement of Luna!” The woman looked up and said to me in a solemn tone. “Girl, turn your neck around and let us see the mark on you!” Gina combed my hair into a royal high bun.

“Calm down, okay. I’ll do my best to survive…and will find any chances to visit you.” “I’ll do the same thing, Vera. Don’t get yourself killed,” she begged. I raised my brow. “I might be a human but I’m a bad bitch, remember that.” Mira must not feel the fear reigning inside me because if she saw a single crack, I might consider her suggestion and that was the least thing I would do. I did not want her to see it. I wanted her out of it. It was a good thing that the lycan king only wanted me. Besides, if there was someone who deserves to be offered that mission, it would be me. So I need to fight the spooky feeling every time they mention the name of the lycan king.

"Matilda, ain't you getting ahead of yourself? You're not my mate… we are just fuck buddies and nothing more." "Are you being serious right now? Lucas, it's been over three years and now you're just going to throw everything down the drain because Veronica has chosen you as her mate and you're going to be the next Lycan king of the Nightshade Pack," Matilda scoffed, eyeing me narrowly. "Matilda you are—"

"Jake, stop!" Avery’s voice shattered the heavy air. She stepped out of the shadows of the wall, her own golden Lycan eyes flaring bright and wild as she forced her aura to expand, desperately trying to slice through the suffocating blanket of his dominance. Her heart was hammering against her ribs like a trapped beast. Underneath the terror, a dark, primitive part of her Lycan wolf was purring, thoroughly intoxicated by the sight of her mate slaughtering an intruder for her honor. The carnal, raw lust pooling heavy and thick between her thighs was an agonizing madness.

He stepped closer instead, his eyes glowing like molten emeralds. “You and your kind deserve no mercy,” he said coldly. “You wolves have been a thorn in the flesh of every lycan. Today, that ends. You found our hideout and cost me two of my brothers. I know your name—and I know exactly what you are. And when I’m done with you, you’ll curse the day you became my mate.” His words froze the air in my lungs. “Take her away!” he commanded. Hands gripped my arms and dragged me backward, my heart hammering as I stared at him in disbelief.

And when it moved, the ground shook in time with it, like the earth itself recognized its king. It didn’t look at me. It didn’t look at Kade. It looked at Darius. _Lycan King,_ it said, and the name hit the air like a physical blow. _Give me the girl._ Darius didn’t flinch. “You’ll never touch her.” _Not yet,_ the voice purred. _But the blood will decide. The seal you broke here woke me. The blood you spilled fed me. And your daughter’s blood… sings to me._

Lucien's golden eyes slowly shifted toward Ariana interest flashed across his face. So this is the girl powerful enough to make the ruthless Lycan King lose control..Kael's grip tightened immediately around Ariana. The pressure made her heartbeat race Lucien noticed immediately and smiled because that's what he wants . I heard the guards whispering, he continued calmly while stepping further inside the roomI didn't believe them Kael Draven claiming a mate? He chuckled softly. That sounded impossible Ariana felt the dangerous tension rising between the two men. Selene wisely stepped backward toward the corner of the room she even looked nervous now.

I’m cut off. “The Lycan king is only using you for his Mistress. He has a mate also. You mean nothing to him. So get this idea of a savior out of your head. You are nothing but the concubine to Alpha Leopold. It is time you came back and made this all right.” I hold my head in sorrow. What does he mean that the Lycan king has a mate? This can’t be happening again. I refuse to be used again. “Her name is Katarina. She is the next queen. It will never be you. So come back and fix this.” He looks me in the eyes. Pleading for the first time ever. “Please Kemira. It’s so bad there now. We need you.”
