Love Knows No Boundary

Love Knows No Boundary

Not even when he said 'but don't worry, your things are all intact in your new room'. The rest of the journey was in silence. We were at Avenue C in twenty minutes, the street where our old house stood. A huge 'for sale' sign now stood at its door. Oddly so, the new house was still on the same street. Mom must so much love Avenue C, including whomever she was getting married to. Uncle Richard switched off the engine when he packed in the yard. Unlike the old house, this one was bigger, more beautiful and had two stories.

A Ruling Passion: Mr Tremont's Priceless Little Bride

the old woman said hoarsely. The doctor paused before continuing, “It’s not entirely hopeless… The bodies of the elderly are no less stronger than the younger ones. However, it will take some effort. Hold on.” Tabitha chuckled, “No, I’ve lived long enough. Please… write my will… for me… Say that… I’m leaving… the Wynn’s old mansion… to… my granddaughter… The… housing deed… is… is… in… the… Tremont…Tremont Estate...The house...that… I was previously… staying in… Under the mattress… Write it down…”

So this isn’t really a book it is a Kdrama in print form. It never ends really. I like it but I dislike the way every sexual interaction between Mark and Arianne is described as marital rape. It really is ok for a wife to enjoy sex with her husband and the author could reflect that in their writing.

Out With the Old, In With the New

Out With the Old, In With the New

I felt a little embarrassed. Upon learning that I was affiliated with the law firm and taking on cases, Damien had enthusiastically introduced a client to me. It wouldn't be nice to keep a client waiting, right? I pried Morgan's fingers off my sleeve and looked at him calmly. "You have a job, so you should understand I can't be late for my appointment. Also, you're the one who bought the house and car, so I don't want any of it. As for the furniture and electrical appliances, think of them as my donation to you.

My New Neighbour

My New Neighbour

I wondered. I walked slowly towards the window with my arms wrapped around me. I grabbed the window handles to pull them back to close it but I stopped midway when I noticed the lights next door. Who could that be? The house beside us was empty for over a year. I squinted and could actually see the inside of the room through the window adjoining mine. Like seriously, I could strangle the guy who constructed these houses like that. So damn close! Anyway, we finally got some new neighbours. What an odd time to move in though, I couldn't help but think. I just hope they would be nice. My parents could have some pals.

Will there be a second book? I noticed the author doesn’t comment on anything so I’m gonna guess and say no that the readers don’t seem to matter with zero interaction from the author.. good book though.

I so enjoyed reading this and am so excited to start the second one. This novel was very well written and kept me interested. I like happy endings and the threat of revenge still is something to be aware of. The writer of this story is very talented

I scoffed again, unbelievable. Yes, i guess they are, i didn't have enough money to buy new clothes. "But, there's one that you can wear right now." He said pointing to a gown, hanged on a wardrobe. It looked really expensive, if you combine all my old clothes cost together, it won't be able to buy that gown. But, I was going to wear it anyways, cause that's the cloth I have to use to leave this house, the one I am wearing right now is not an option.

CRAVING MY SISTER'S BOYFRIEND

CRAVING MY SISTER'S BOYFRIEND

Held it tight. "We can turn around," he said. "We don't have to do this today." "I want to do this today." "Then we do it together." "We do it together." The old house looked smaller than I remembered. That was the first thing I noticed. In my mind, it was a mansion. A fortress. A place where giants lived and monsters hid under the bed. But now it was just a house. A two-story colonial with white paint peeling off the shutters. The roof looked old. The lawn was overgrown. The mailbox was crooked.

The Awakening

The Awakening

Bianca Cross's humming makes it's way to her from deeper inside the house. “Mom?" Sera calls. “In the kitchen, dear." She walks in the kitchen and finds her mother is behind the newly renovated island. The house is old, old enough to have been in the family for centuries. When Sera's parents agreed to keep it, her mom had one condition—an updated kitchen. She can survive without air conditioning in the summer, the creaky floorboards, and a leaky roof, but an outdated kitchen was not going to cut it. It only took one month to get it Bianca-Cross-perfect. Brand new white cabinets keep the farmhouse vibe, but the sleek new granite countertops and sleek metal appliances bring this ancient home b

The Girl of an Old Mansion

The Girl of an Old Mansion

He found himself at a clearing where he found the black mansion, nestled below the ground and roped off with the talismans. It was pitch dark by now. Only the dark forest and the horrible mansion could be seen from the full moon's light. He slowly walked towards the house, leaves crunching under his feet. The broken gates were open, creaking in the wind making a dolorous sound. The lightning lit up the house and the thunder made him jump. The house was dark and gloomy. It had narrow broken windows and an open wooden porch. Min-ho felt beads of sweat form on his forehead even with the cold breeze blowing. His heart was pounding in his chest, racing faster with every step he took towards the f

Eli. All 8 of them made it to the farmhouse. 4 had set perimeter around it while the rest have stacked themselves up by the threshold of the front door, setting themselves into a standard breach and entry procedure of assault teams in close-quarter engagement. A loud bang from the front door—even from this distance—made Joseph jump. The stacked marines entered the house. A few seconds passed, all were quiet, even the marines standing guard outside the house stood motionless, silent but poised for violence should there be a need for it. A minute passed, then two, then, one by one, the assault team came out of the house, most likely declaring the house secured.

The old man asked. “Yeah,” Milo said. “That is the one I bought.” “Well, then you can move in as soon as you want.” The old man said. “I got the offer and the notification of deposit earlier.” “What?” Milo asked, surprised. “It is my house.” The older woman said. “It is the one I grew up in.” “Are you serious?” Milo asked. “It was in my family for a few generations being upgraded and whatnot to fit everyone’s needs, but I didn’t want it to sit empty anymore. It needs people. It needs a family.” She said with a smile, “I think it needs someone exactly like the two of you.”

'The New House' unfolds in a deceptively tranquil suburban neighborhood, where manicured lawns and picket fences mask an eerie undercurrent. The titular house stands at the cul-de-sac’s end, a Victorian relic with gabled roofs and stained-glass windows that throw prismatic shadows at noon. Inside, the walls seem to breathe—whispers coil through the vents, and the basement exudes a damp chill no heater can dispel. The town’s history seeps into the story: a century-old tragedy involving the house’s original owners lingers like fog, tying the present-day family’s nightmares to the past.

The setting thrives on contrasts. Daylight bathes the streets in golden normalcy, but night twists the same scenery into something sinister. The local diner serves pie under flickering neon, while the forest behind the house swallows sound whole. Time behaves oddly; clocks stop at 3:07 AM, the hour the previous owner vanished. It’s a masterclass in atmospheric dread, blending domestic familiarity with gothic horror elements that make every creaking floorboard feel like an omen.
