As the sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a golden glow across the restless sea, Leo and I stood side by side on the deck of the pirate ship. The ship was a weathered beast, sturdy and seasoned by countless battles, its sails billowing with the wind that carried us further from the shore. The decision had been made: we would stay aboard for the night, too weary and too uncertain of the waters to risk traveling back to land immediately.

The nightlife of Los Angeles, California is said to be the best and especially when the roads are empty and people are off to sleep. The never shutting city lights enhance the beauty of LA. Three large container trunks along with four powerful SUV vans were racing in the empty roads. Each and every person was so ready with the ammo. Soon they reached to the shore where dozens of cargo ships were ready to pull over in the middle of the pitch-black night. Giovanni asked the guard about Guiseppe's shipment and he told him. "Come on, fast. Load the cartons before..." Fia, who was working for Guiseppe ordered the men who were loading the cartons in the cargo ships.

The Night-Blooming Garden was the most beautiful and popular place in the Cloud City. More than a garden, it would be more appropriate to describe it as a forest, but as it was located in the heart of the city and a long road crossed it, many would go there, especially at night, when the most beautiful flowers would open with the beginning of each season.

A lex really was not in the mood for the fair. The captain decided that Alex and Miller would rotate shifts with Hendricks and Pantaleo and that there would be at least one pair patrolling at the fair at all times from open to close—which was from eleven to eight every day, and until ten p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The chief tried to soften the blow with the promise of overtime pay (“already authorized by the mayor, who’s grateful for our presence”), but Alex didn’t care about the money.

The cruise ship sailed quite far into the middle of the ocean. The next day they would arrive at the first stop. The ship would dock, and the passengers would descend ashore to have fun for two days and one night in a tourist destination city. It was already midnight. Ann walked to the top of the ship's deck alone in light clothes. She wanted to enjoy the sea breeze at night alone. The view of the ocean at night was so beautiful. Ann could see the moon and stars twinkling clearly in the night sky. The weather that night was very clear.

Its guns roar, tearing into the speedboats with terrifying precision. Engines sputter, hulls splinter, screams cut through the air. Within minutes, the would-be raiders are retreating, limping into the night.

[Two Months Later] Max took a deep breath as she climbed down the narrow little stairs and closed the trapdoor behind her. It was eleven o'clock on a weeknight. Another cargo ship had arrived in the port of Norsethorne earlier that day, and in two more it would depart for Novenhrad. It was always the same process: the ship docked, and after two intense weeks at sea, the crew went straight to the inn to drink. The ship was left completely unguarded—because really, who would be crazy enough to rob a business that brought so much income to the town?
