The Beta's Mate

The Beta's Mate

Sam POV Just one more click and the cell will be open. I feel sweat on my brow as I fight the urge to be with Lana. She continues tempting me, “Come on sweet Sam, just one more click,” she says. I have a sense that moving forward will somehow help her. I bend over feeling pain go through my body. I am fighting what feels natural.

Guys! Read this story!!! All of Ellie’s stories are amazing! They pull you in, they’re well written and they have characters that you both love and love to hate. You can’t go wrong with this story, or any of them really!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I’ve read 5 other books by this author and this is my favorite. Her writing pulls you in. The characters will frustrate you, make you laugh and cry. The plot is full of surprises and suspense, redemption and healing. Highly recommend. Read Healing Powers first.

The One He Let Go

The One He Let Go

The murmurs started quietly at first, low whispers passing through the people walking by. “Is that her?” “No way, she’s already out?” “That’s the fake twin, right?” I clenched my jaw. Then, It got worse. “She looks awful.” “She should’ve rotted in there longer.” “I wonder how she’s even gonna survive now.” A woman walked past and laughed loud enough for me to hear. “Guess karma’s finally catching up.” Heat surged to my face, burning through my skin like acid. My hands curled into fists. I wanted to scream, to lash out, to make them shut up. But what would that do? I had nothing.

My Brother's Bride

My Brother's Bride

I was getting conscious of his gaze, so I looked away. Sam Di came and hugged me. She said, " You were looking so good; no wonder my brother has lost his sanity. " She said with a smile. She said that to me, but in reality, she was looking extremely beautiful in a saree. I turned my head to look at Aman bhaiya, and I saw that he was ogling her with his mouth open. They both were attracted to each other, I wanted them to get married and be happy.

The One He Chose

The One He Chose

Not entirely human. Henry froze at his desk, his pen slipping from his hand. No… it can’t be. The man’s aura rolled through the room, old and powerful, the kind Henry had grown up feeling at pack gatherings. This was no ordinary CEO. This was a wolf. By sheer accident—or perhaps fate—Mr. Donovan’s eyes landed on him. For a moment too long, he paused, studying Henry with something like recognition. “Who’s that?” Donovan asked one of his aides, his voice edged with curiosity.

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

Harlan beside—coffee in hand, hair wilder than yesterday. General Voss—new face, Joint Chiefs—stern, decorated. **Colonel Reyes:** “Storm Queen. Channel secure. Shambhala node active?” I nod. Second screen blooms—serene light. The One appears—robes simple, background the crystal lake island. Monks faint in distance, chanting soft. **The One (voice calm, resonant):** “Greetings, children of the revealed and the hidden. The cycles turn. We speak as one.” Third feed—Storm Academy local.

My One and Only You

My One and Only You

Of course, it’s one of the famous songs from his favorite band, Parokya ni Edgar. “I take one step away and find myself coming back to you, My One and Only One and Only You.” He hears the voice singing on the fence between the girl’s apartment and theirs. The beautiful voice intrigued him. It was the first time he had heard someone sing at a friend’s house. Her voice is gorgeous. He wants to hear more than this and to know her. Clark went into the chair just next to the fence and looked over. As there was a light on the lamppost, he could see the woman. She was wearing earphones as she sat on the bench. Her eyes were closed, she wore her pajamas, and her head was still moving as if she enjoy

The One He Never Claimed.

The One He Never Claimed.

There's a very heavy tension surrounding the table that no one wants to address so we just continue mindlessly talking in hopes it'll disappear. "The food is very lovely Mary." I compliment the beautiful dark-skinned lady who's sitting on the other side of dad as we continue dining. Something big is going to be happening for her today and she needs to be in a good mood. I don't think she thinks dad's going to propose. Not now nor ever. In her head, dad has only really loved one woman and he'll never truly love another one again. She's largely mistaken. I can't wait to see the look on her face when dad pops the question. But until then,

Frequently Asked Questions

I stumbled upon 'The One' by John Marrs while browsing for something that would mess with my head—and boy, did it deliver. The premise is wild: a DNA test can now pinpoint your perfect romantic match with 100% accuracy. Sounds like a dream, right? But Marrs flips this sci-fi twist into a gripping thriller, weaving together multiple storylines where people’s lives unravel after finding 'The One.' There’s a serial killer, a politician with skeletons in her closet, and ordinary folks whose relationships implode. The book’s strength lies in how it exposes the dark side of obsession and the illusion of control over love. It’s not just about romance; it’s about the chaos that happens when technology tries to replace human intuition.

What really hooked me was how each character’s arc collided with the others, revealing interconnected tragedies and twisted fates. The pacing is relentless, and the ethical questions linger long after the last page. I couldn’t stop thinking about how far we’d go for 'perfect' love—and whether it even exists. If you’re into speculative fiction with a psychological punch, this one’s a must-read.
