he said, his voice husky. Ayla blushed deeply when she understood what Rhobart meant. When they made it to the puppet theater, a big group of children and adults were already watching the play. It was a story about a princess kidnapped by a Dark Mage and locked inside his tower. Many weeks passed until a brave Paladin came to rescue her. A battle started between the Dark Mage and the Paladin. They fought for a long time, and in the end, the Paladin killed the Dark Mage and saved the princess.

A Shade of Violet

A Shade of Violet

I say, furrowing my eyebrows at her question, "My room is bare and I want things that I like to decorate it." Hestia's expression softens, "Well you should have told me. We would have come here first if I had known. I don't know anything about you Violet. I hate to admit it, but I had assumed you were like all the other girls Anthony has encountered. Hence the reason why I took you into those clothing stores in the first place." I pick up the pajama set from the shelf beside me, "Would any of those girls like this talking cactus?" Hestia laughs, "Not at all. It's good to know that you aren't like those other girls at all."

Exposing the Plagiarist Queen

Exposing the Plagiarist Queen

“Vera, I noticed your IP address shows you’re in Haven State. I’m here on a business trip. Let’s meet. I think... maybe I misunderstood you.” My heart thudded. * I thought this meeting would finally clear my name. But to my surprise, Lily wasn’t here to apologize, she was here to convince me to finish Ruby’s manuscript. At the cafe, her eyes swept over my outfit—Chanel’s latest collection. A smug, condescending smirk tugged at her lips. “Name your price, Vera,” she said smoothly, her voice laced with disdain. “I know your financial situation isn’t great. So, how much will it take for you to pick up the pen and finish the book?”

Luck is Not Always a Lady

Luck is Not Always a Lady

"In that case, I thank you for allowing me to intrude upon your time." He was sure he did not mistake the slight blush on her face when she replied, "It is no intrusion, sir." Their conversation had been mostly inconsequential. Her mother was improving and thrilled over the engagement of her middle daughter. Bingley was expected to return within the next day or two. She had made a subtle inquiry about how long he intended to stay, which pleased him greatly, though the answer that he would be returning to Town in a couple of weeks in order to see his sister was not one he was happy to give, and from her expression it was not one that pleased her either. But then she smiled and turned the subj

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Of Frost and Fire

Of Frost and Fire

She often worried about it when she lay curled up in her black walnut bed o'nights, listening to the moan of the gulf and the Wind Woman singing in the trees, and drifted into sleep wishing intensely that she could solve the dark old mystery and dissolve its legend of shame and bitterness. Emily went rather languidly upstairs to the lookout. She meant to write some more of her story, The Ghost of the Well, wherein she was weaving the old legend of the well in the Lee field; but somehow interest was lacking; she put the manuscript back into the mantel cupboard; she read over a letter from Dean Priest which had come that day, one of his fat, jolly, whimsical, delightful letters wherein he had

The king sighed heavily. “The women must have already seen Keane,” he said under his breath. Asteria was curious.
