The Billionaire's Broken Bride

The Billionaire's Broken Bride

“You walk away. With your name cleared, your business secured, and enough money to start over.” I should’ve walked away. But instead, I asked, “Why me?” He paused. And for a second — just one second — I saw something in his eyes shift. A flicker of something softer. Sadder. But it was gone before I could name it. “Because you don’t break,” he said. I felt my throat tighten. “You saw the man you were supposed to marry betray you,” he continued. “And you walked out with your head high. You didn’t cause a scene. You didn’t fall apart. That kind of strength is rare.”

The Billionaire’s Broken Contract

The Billionaire’s Broken Contract

One article from six months ago caught my attention: "Graham's Engagement Ends in Scandal." I clicked on it, squinting at the small screen. Victoria Sterling, a blonde socialite from old money, had been engaged to Brett for two years. The engagement ended when she was caught cheating with his business partner. The article mentioned her statement that Brett was "impossible to please" and "emotionally unavailable." The woman who'd had everything beauty, money, social status couldn't handle him for two years. What made me think I could last six months? My phone died with a soft beep, plunging me into darkness.

Passion in Broken Love

Passion in Broken Love

“If you want to apologise, don’t beat about the bush.” I narrowed my eyes at him in annoyance, but before I could retort, Valeria’s frame appeared in the space created in the door way. “Mr Price!” came her high-pitched voice. “I was just hoping I could see you. I hope you're not too busy.” “I’m not,” I said, just to spite him, and not actually because I wanted to help her. Daniel shook his head and rolled hid eyes. “Find me when you set your priorities straight.”

PAY TO BREAK ME

PAY TO BREAK ME

And I needed the money. So win, so win. Sort of. Honestly, it wasn't a first career choice but I didn't mind being here. I could walk around semi-hard and it wouldn't be frowned upon. It would even be welcome and more often than not, I would find someone to take care of it with. My hole tonight was a man, who preferred to remain anonymous. Well, a man was a strong word seeing as he just turned eighteen today, and that was why he was here. My eyes had shot up when I saw the price he'd paid. That was double my flat rate, all the way up to the “anything you want” package.

Spoilers of a Broken Love

Spoilers of a Broken Love

However, from what I had already seen scrolling past those strange on-screen comments, I knew he was not going to work; he was going to see Samantha. The moment he was gone, I went straight to a law firm and had them draft a divorce agreement for me. That afternoon, Benjamin called. "Emma, today's our tenth anniversary. There's a jewelry exhibition tonight. You can choose anything you like, and I'll buy it all for you." He had forgotten. Our actual anniversary was yesterday. I forced a small smile. "As long as it's from you, I'll like it." At the exhibition, Benjamin spent money like it meant nothing: two necklaces, a pair of earrings, two bracelets…

Girl, You Sold Too Early

Girl, You Sold Too Early

"Have you lost it? What are you saying?" Jenny shot me a glare. "Lost it? Nolan, she's an actress he hired! They planned this to ruin our wedding!" She swung to Maya. "And you? How much did he pay you to put on this little show?" Maya just laughed at the logic, then lifted her wrist, flashing a Patek Philippe. "Broke? Ms. Knapp, the watch that 'broke guy' gave me costs more than everything your childhood friend owns—even with that redevelopment payout. As for who I am—"

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

"Why?" "You sure you want this one?" "It's the only one still available." "Yeah, I mean, do you really want it, like, right now?" I tapped a foot on the pavement. "What's wrong?" "It's 1,199 bucks." "I saw the price. Come on, just get it now before the window closes." He scratched the back of his neck, head down. "Thing is... I'm broke. I've already spent my pay. I don't have the money."

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

Where Broken Hearts Meet

Where Broken Hearts Meet

"I will, but you'll have to promise me something." That cheeky grin of his has brought me no end of bad luck. Whatever, I'll play along this time. "Fine, but put me down first." Eugene's grin only grew wider as he put me down. What do you want now?! "Ok, I'm listening," I said as I fixed my dress. "You look beautiful, by the way," Eugene said, placing his hands in his pockets. "You don't look too bad yourself," I said, still fixing myself to at least look presentable at the engagement party. "Now, tell me. What soul-selling promise must I make to you?"

Broken Pieces

Broken Pieces

There is always a price to pay and once you agree to pay that price, I promise I will always be by her side and make sure no harm reaches her'. W: Name your price demon' D: my demand is simple. Grant me the permission to make her mine when she is of age. I want her as a mate. I want her betrothed to me'. W: I can do with that but promise not to touch or make your appearance known until you know it is necessary. After all, now I will know that if I am not here anymore, she will have someone she can lean on.' D: You have my word then. I will never leave her side. Now that she is mine, no harm can come on her because no one touches my things.'
