"I could not leave yet. This project is a priority. The fate of the Capital relies on this. Tell them I would return soon once the monastery reached Nirvana. I need to see the result with my own eyes." The shadow hesitated a bit before saying, "The Capital stated that it is Code Red. The all-powerful Grim Reaper Benjamin is joining the war." Mr. Lin Ze's eyes turned wide. Code Red.... The highest level of crisis. It means the Capital needs their entire force to battle this war. For the thousand-year history of the Capital, it could only be counted in one hand the time when the Capital issued Code Red. And as always, they managed to survive and escape by an inch.

My wolf pressed against my skin, itching to shut him up but I forced myself to stay calm. "Because war is coming," I said. My voice carried, steady but loud enough for every wolf in the square to hear. "Not raids, not scraps at the border but war. An Alpha with red eyes leads the rogues now, they have weapons coated with wolfsbane, armor stronger than anything you've seen. When they come, they won't just hit Moonclaw. They'll come here too, they'll come for your families, for your homes." There was silence. I could see the way their bodies shifted

“What the hell is going on?“ I demanded impatiently. ”Red Moon Pack wants to go to war with us. They want Hara back, or we go to war,“ “What?!“

They are elegant hands, long-fingered and steady, but the knuckles are scabbed and raw from his early morning exertions. "The war is not over," he says softly. "The war is never over. That was my mistake before. I thought peace was a state of being. It is not. Peace is merely the pause between attacks. And Vorlag may appear to be neutered, but I have no doubt he’s making new plans. And a month ago the pack was convinced Redmaw was about to scale our walls. We’ve done nothing to eliminate them, apart from losing one particular pack member. Or did that win us the war against Redmaw?”

, he said stiffly, his calm voice doing nothing to fool me. I nodded. “I know”, I said. “But this goes beyond honor”, I told him. “This fight is for the werewolves everywhere”, I said. “We have no other choice in the matter”. He remained silent, clearly not agreeing to with me. I sighed hard. “Redclaw is one of the largest packs in the East”, I reminded him. “We would need their numbers if we wish to have any hope of winning this war”, I said. He remained silent still.

"All of them. We’ve wiped them out, just like you ordered." I nod, feeling satisfied with this news and even my wolf howls in satisfaction. The Redwoods had it coming, but war is never clean. It stains everything it touches. I glance toward the direction of the Redwood pack; everything smells of blood and fear. “Tell the warriors to move in. If they attack us, we take them down. No hesitation.” Viktor nods, but there is an unsaid question in his gaze.

Viktor shrugged. My brows twitched, I drew in a deep breath to calm myself then turned away. My eyes caught sight of something that stole my attention, and I wasn't able to look away. It was a large painting on one side where wolves were, and on the other were people. They seemed to be at war then, and between them stood a man dressed in red. The painting was very graphic with a lot of gore. It was telling a story which intrigued me. Viktor's gaze lingered on me before it moved to the painting. "That was the first great war," Viktor mentioned.

Few perish in their beastial appearance. Their once erect furs all flatten. It looses it once beautiful and wind blowing appearance. Certain warriors also die in their human forms. Their lost heads roll miles from their body and their bloods decorate the pack. This really was one hell of a war. One amongst the toughest and most deadliest war ever encountered by red blood pack. Or should I generalize and say the deadliest war to be every encountered by any pack. It's was brutal. Excessively brutal. Merciless and enhanced powered rouge's easily wrecking beta's and destroying our every defence.

“Ex-military. Wolves who fight like soldiers, not animals.” I swore under my breath. “That’s why the raids stopped. They were regrouping.” Roric nodded. “They move in three days. Target: Redwood’s eastern villages.” I looked up at him. “Why tell me?” “Because you’re the only one who can stop them without starting a war between our packs,” he said. “If Blackridge hits them, it looks like an invasion. If Redwood hits them, it looks like defense.” I folded the map and tucked it into my coat.

She said. “What do you mean by the war is in 11 days!! " I asked not concerned about her other words. She looked sharply at me "If I were you, I would concentrate on the two people I mentioned earlier. Come to think of it, I am you so I know well how you feel so I will tell you. The war with the Red Moon Pack is in the next full moon which is in 11 days, you shouldn't be concerned about that, you should be more concerned about what I am trying to tell you, we have limited time!!” She said sounding urgent.
