The Spark In Your Eyes Chapter 1 Mga Nobela at Kwento

Sparks lit across my forearms—not real ones, but visual pops behind my eyes, like the world was short-circuiting. The edges of the cell turned soft. My vision didn’t blur—it bent. I saw movement in corners where nothing stood. I leaned forward, jaw tight. Elias didn’t move. He was pretending to be focused on his work, but I could see the way his eyes tracked me through his peripheral vision. He didn’t want to get too close. I understood. Something was waking inside me, and it didn’t ask permission. I pressed my hands flat to the floor, grounding myself. The stone pulsed—just once.

I place my hands on the sides of her face, and the sparks almost break me down. I thought I felt sparks when she was trying to talk me down before, but I was under the spell and figured I wasn’t in my right mind. This, this is real. The sparks are real. Her scent is real. I close my eyes and breathe in deeply. When I open my eyes, tears are falling down Nikki’s cheeks. I use my thumb to wipe them away. I lean in close and place my lips on hers; heaven on Earth.

‘Open your eyes, Rose… danger is coming… wake up…. I pushed hard. My eyelids tore and pulled apart, orange yellow lights burst in, and I felt stung. My eyes shut. It’s cold, mum. ‘I’m with you, sweetie… open your eyes and fight….’ I tried again. This time, my eyes have adapted. A weary sound escaped from my lips as the view before me slowly cleared to the present. And then, I glared in surprise at the person standing before me. Goldie… Sparks? What’s she doing here? Where’s Ambrose?

I flipped mine over and stared at the spine, turning the book at different angles until I noticed a slight shimmer on the spine. My heart jolted. This can't be. I opened the book to the first blank page. My breathing became loud in my ears as I swallowed hard. I snapped my fingers and a black flame appeared on my fingertip. I placed it against the page. My heart stopped beating as I watched words suddenly appear. ~~ To my dearest Taitan, I'll be in touch...

It left me with feelings for the woman I am going to end all ties with every soon. "God damnit!" I spat out, before shifting my gaze to the side. Her eyes twitched before it opened. I see her green eyes, I feel strange...again. .... IRIS'S P.O.V I opened my eyes, trying to adjust to the light. I really didn't think I would ever see this bright light ever again. I thought I would actually be dead by now, but am not. My eyes shifted to the side, and I see him staring right at me with his piercing blue ones. My memory comes back to me and I remember everything: The setup, the fire and...him, Xavier.

I gently touch the outer walls and I feel a burst of power run through me. I am suddenly back in my body, and back in my room. I can feel sparks on my arm, and I breathe a sigh of relief. Adam is still with me. The sparks signify our love and connection. I open my eyes slowly and see Adam’s head resting on my arm. He is not looking at me. I reach my other hand across my body putting my hand on his head.

It felt… like more than a dream. Sasha stays until my hands stop shaking. She doesn’t speak much, just watches me with that quiet focus of hers—like she’s trying to solve a puzzle. Or maybe decide if I’m one. I shift on the mattress, rubbing my palms together, and that’s when something strange happens. I see a spark. Not the electric kind. Not some fluke of friction or adrenaline. It is mlre like a glow. It was faint, and fleeting. My hand lights up, silver and soft, like moonlight caught in flesh. It pulses once… then disappears. I jerk back like I’ve been burned, my breath freezing in my throat.

I feel the sparks come to life instantly; dancing over my skin, giving birth to those warm fuzzy feelings that only come with him. My eyes instantly flutter shut as I feel tranquility wash over me while my thoughts drain out of my head. Where are they going? Before I could come up with any possible explanation in my head, he is pulling back, his hands disappearing, taking away the sparks with him. I snap my eyes open as I feel disappointment.

He grabbed all the diaries and threw them at my feet. Suddenly, all the diaries started flying around me. They were circling around me. My eyes went wide as the diaries started burning. In no time, all the diaries were turned into ashes. There was a spark of blue light literally standing in front of me. I gasped loudly as that spark threw itself on me. I was expecting unbearable pain. But inside, my body absorbed that spark.

Abruptly, a hand closed over my eyes. "Jasper, let me see." I held his hand with both of my hands and began to pull down. "You don't need to see this," he whispered in my eyes. "No, stop him. He can't fight them." I thought about digging my nails in the back of his hand. That'd be rude, "Please," His laughter echoed from behind me. "Jasper," His voice was rough. He removed his hand. My gaze stopped on his glowing eyes, "Your eyes," I looked deep in them, "A pool of burning fire," I muttered.
