Week One, Monday Morning [Raven’s POV] A mechanical sound chimed, awakening me from my slumber. [SYSTEM ACTIVATED] All participants are to appear in the game room within the next ten minutes for the first game of the week. Find a box containing your required weekly costumes outside your room door. (Repeat) I stirred in bed, still half asleep. Leo, however, was wide awake, sitting on the arm of the chair. He stood abruptly and walked to the door to retrieve the box. I sat up, sleep clearing from my eyes as my mind fully slipped into game mode.

A hidden function inside the prison reactor began unlocking. A message appeared in front of her eyes. [TRIAL RESPONSE PROTOCOL AVAILABLE] Lyra frowned. “What’s that?” She opened the menu. A single command appeared. ACTIVATE SYSTEM AVATAR Adrian saw the glow in her eyes. “What did the system give you?” Lyra slowly smiled. “…A bigger weapon.” Outside the city walls, the creature raised its head for another attack. But inside the reactor network, something ancient began waking up. Something built specifically for moments like this. And the alien observers above Earth leaned forward slightly. Because the real test was about to begin.

“You wanted me to come back?” A slow, dangerous calm slid over me, coiling with the fire I’d found at the bottom of that bath. “Fine. I’ll come back.” I curled my fingers into the thin blanket, feeling unfamiliar muscles tighten, a stranger’s heart thudding hard in my chest. “But this time, it will be different,” I promised. “I’m not going to be the weak one.” And somewhere deep inside, that vow settled like a seed. Awakening. Not for redemption. For sin. For revenge. I might really go to hell by the time I’m done.

“Don't worry. Everything will be alright.” Alpha Mikhail silently lauded the goodness of the situation. Alpha Lachlan is so drawn to his Luna; his Luna has certainly became his weakness; and there is an ongoing war that they don't know. Not one of them knew what Hodor has just announced. On top of everything, Alpha Mikhail have them. He euphorically feel the chess pieces are positioning theirselves to exhilarate him. “She is getting awake,” Lumia cheerfully declared. “Finally…” Alpha Mikhail silently uttered to himself. His hiding his evil smile deep inside him.

The copper taste of betrayal on my tongue as the sky over Boston turned to ink. "She’s awake! Doctor, she’s opening her eyes!" The voice hit me like a physical blow. It was Lurii. But her voice was wrong, it was higher, thinner, vibrating with a youthful, frantic energy untouched by the years of bourbon and bitterness I’d heard on that rooftop. I blinked, my vision swimming through a haze of tears and the stinging glare of the overhead lights. As the shapes solidified, I saw them. Standing on either side of my bed were the two architects of my ruin. Marcus and Lurii.

New objective, survive a few minutes without the system. Reward, awaken your new power" "What's all this messages popping up, it's hard to follow up.
