Parang isang stand novel ang librong 'yon dahil nakasulat do'n ang mga bagay na nangyari sa female lead na inspired sa totoo niyang buhay. She writes the book when she’s not okay, when she feels like she’s given up. Some of the scenes she wrote in that book were what happened to her mother, Helenah Miller ten years ago. Namatay si Helenah noong 9 years old pa lamang si Hayacinth. The cause of its death was internal bleeding, mas naging complicated pa ang survival rate ni Helenah noong oras na 'yon dahil na rin sa dinadala nitong bata sa tiyan niya na pang-tatlong buwan pa lamang.

Nakakatuwang pagmasdan ang takot na takot niyang mukha. Gano'n nga, matakot ka. Mayanig ka. Dahil ito na ang katapusan ng kahayupan mo. "Now, can I ask a person who wants me to die?
