MIA'S POV As I delicately turned the worn pages of the Book of Enchantments, my eyes widened in disbelief. Each incantation revealed a darker secret, a more malevolent power than the last. My heart quickened as I stumbled upon a page filled with vicious curses, each word practically dripping with malice. “What the bloody hell is that?” I moved away from Ryker, my eyes were solely fixated on the book. Wiping away the shattered glasses, I did not care if it would hurt me. Once it was clean, I read the book to Ryker. “It is the Book of The Damned.” All I wanted was to get a hold of that book and satisfy my curiosity but when I did, I could feel the power surging from the book, my hands were painfully attached to it. Then the book opened, forcing my palm to hold it up the pages started to flip rapidly. So many images flashed through my mind but none of which I recalled. The book slammed shut and I blinked. I turned to Ryker and swallowed before finding my voice to speak, “Did you see that?”

“Uncanny.” She commented, as she looked at the book and scan the cover, which weirdly enough does not have any synopsis like any other book genre out there. Covered with the pattern of the gloom and dark with the title engraved in a pattern using gold ink. Its resemblance is pretty much centers like a religious book, yet is not. For anything else, the lady in blue is screaming her very own familiarity towards her, as it looks and speaks like. “Me.”

Hey readers bare with me this book is getting a much needed overhaul! Major Trigger warning, this book contains graphic descriptions. The main character was raped and harmed by someone of authority. At the beginning of the book she is kidnapped by the same individual. I just want everyone to be aware before digging into this book that it is very intense.
