My chest felt hollow and empty like no matter how hard I fought, I would never belong here. Then my phone buzzed. I looked at it. It was a message from an “Unknown Number”. I opened the message slowly and read “Wear Black, Little Wolf. See You at Midnight. I will be waiting for you. Don't disappoint me”. Reading it, my stomach dropped. Then I remember, today was the Initiation of the "Obsidian Circle”.

The Secret Library The howl echoed through White Fang Territory long after the sound itself had faded. It lingered. Like a warning. Like a promise. Like the beginning of something dangerous. Standing on the palace balcony, Summit Angel Warm watched the distant mountains while cold wind swept through her hair. Beside her, Froz White Fang remained completely still. His blue eyes narrowed toward the northern border. The playful Alpha who spent mornings tormenting her with training had vanished. This was the future ruler of White Fang.

Shaking my head, I wonder why Sam has so much hatred in her heart, and why she let it get so dark? “Coming Alpha” Silently, I walked through the woods, becoming my wolf, a beautiful black and white beast. I have a black patch on one eye and a white patch on the other eye. My wolf, Samson, is marvelous to look at. Despite his long hair, he is fierce. The moon goddess paired Samson and me perfectly. I stroll ever so lightly at a frantic pace. It is obvious Sam is a crazed, unpredictable individual. Several years ago, I had a big crush on her. Nicolas saw her as nothing more than his sister, and she had only eyes for him. I'm saddened by what she did with her life.

Just relaxing, licking my paws, and preening my fur. There is a crackling sound coming from the leaves. There was a hulking black wolf with silver highlights in front of me as I looked up. His appearance was stunning. As big as I was as a wolf, the wolf was. This is not typical for regular wolves. Growling at this wolf, I get up. I want to scare it away from my territory. Can you tell me what will happen instead? I will tell you what will happen. That wolf changes into Nicolas. The more I look at him, the more curious I become.

Why would he be here? I stood up, none of the other women taking no mind, and I walked down the path, back to where the fountain of the wolf and the fae. Another call of my name had me flinching when I saw Leaf behind the overhanging branches of the willow trees. He was unconscious and being held by a being covered in black. He was overly large, wearing black thigh-high boots, a dark trench coat with a hood covering his face. Several others, including a woman, came out from behind the trees where Creed and I emerged from the palace.

Author's POV After Kehna and her father left, Ruby quickly went to look for the 'so-called shadow' Kehna saw. "Seriously?" She shouted furiously as she waited for an answer. "You really have to learn how to knock," the 'so-called shadow' said in a surprisingly calm tone "Look, I'm not here to joke around with you, just tell if you went out today"

He prayed earnestly to the gods for their help and guidance. A powerful gust of chilly wind blew from the direction of the shrine, passing through them, shaking the leaves off the large maple trees and kicking up dead leaves on the ground into a swirl that spiraled around them, dancing in the air. Leo glanced to his side and saw the white haze surrounding Vivi grow visible until a misty image of a woman in white overlapped with Vivi’s image. He blinked for a second, and the phantom image was gone. The breeze had also died down, letting the leaves settle to the ground.

I wait for the pain, for the strange end, but that’s when something soars right through the broken window, demolishing the entire section of the wall. It’s a big white wolf.

My head snapped back, and suddenly, I was somewhere else entirely. Visions flashed before my eyes too quickly to process or grasp. A forest full of fog, And then, suddenly, I saw a white wolf, as pure as snow, beautiful and strong, running through the misty forest. She turned to me, and her eyes shone. "I'm here," she whispered through my mind. And then, as quickly as she had appeared, she was gone. I blinked, coming back to reality with a start. I gasped, finding myself back in our bedroom and leaning heavily against Roman's chest. He had shifted back to his human form, and was watching me closely.

She stood shakily, wiping her hands on her cloak as she scanned the area for anything else. Her gaze caught something lodged in the bark of a tree a few feet away. She initially believed it to be a broken branch. Then she stepped closer. And froze. It was a fang. Not a natural fang. Not torn from a wolf’s mouth. It was carved. Sharpened. A weapon piece used by warriors who crafted fang blades for close combat. Pack-made. Lyra reached out and pulled it free carefully. The fang's edges were black and dried with blood stains.
