Michy, I love your writing style and this story. You are a talented writer. Hilda and Nathan are my favorite book characters. I love the love they share and how they care for each other and others. Thank you for the shout-out in Chapter 897. I am so honored. And you're right about Anthony. :-)

In the Lap of Luxury

In the Lap of Luxury

Max had been playing chess for over 20 years. No one who played chess with him couldn't make it to 30 moves, but Grace was clearly better than him. "Max, you're too kind. My grandfather taught me chess when I was a child. I rarely play chess in my daily life." Max was shocked to hear that. A casual chess player had managed to catch him, a seasoned chess player, off guard. "Ms. Lewis, you're too modest." Grace moved her last chess piece, putting Max in a checkmate.

Rebirth: Annabel's Revenge

Rebirth: Annabel's Revenge

I'd love for that truth. “Why not? Let's have it.” We moved to the right corner of the room where the chessboard silently laid. “I often use this board as my drawing board. Every day, I come to change my movements.” He laughed. I would have left his drunken a**, but what better way to scoop him off some information if not when his mental state is unstable? “Of course, chess is a giant game. It's not meant for everyone.” As he spoke, each moved his pieces across the 8×8 checkered board.

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

Everyone was fascinated by him. Thorne rolled his wheelchair over. Then, sitting across from William, he leisurely picked up the chessboard and began setting it up. William observed him, seeing him move slowly, and couldn't help but worry for him, "Can he play chess?" "I knew a little." "Have you been here before?" "No, but I have learned the rules on the computer." William sighed and silently removed two pieces from the board, saying, "Don't accuse me of bullying you. I took away two soldiers, fair enough."

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books

This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

PLEASE SELECT: FALKEN’S MAZE BLACKJACK GIN RUMMY HEARTS BRIDGE CHECKERS CHESS POKER FIGHTER COMBAT GUERRILLA ENGAGEMENT DESERT WARFARE AIR-TO-GROUND ACTIONS THEATERWIDE TACTICAL WARFARE THEATERWIDE BIOTOXIC AND CHEM GLOBAL THERMONUCLEAR WAR I knew my uncle well enough to know that this was yet one more challenge. It was there in case someone other than me got to this point of the process. He was also a big fan of the movie “WarGames” so I assumed he wanted me to play a nice game of chess and not global thermonuclear war. For a moment, though, I pondered how much power this machine in front of me actually had.

Don't Touch The Bride

Don't Touch The Bride

Cheryl “What are you? You think ten times faster than the average human,” Gavin teased, laughing. “I mean, Gavin’s the OG chess player, and you’re over here whooping his ass,” Isaac added with a grin. I shrugged. It wasn’t exactly news to me. I’d always been like this, though it mostly went unnoticed unless I was in school. And chess? I’d played it alone more times than anyone could believe. “I’ve mastered the art and craft of chess, Gavin,” I said confidently, moving my knight to capture his last bishop, even though it meant losing my knight in return.

Dangerous Temptation

Dangerous Temptation

MICE PLAY IN THE ABSENCE OF CATS. Same as how the envious smaller gods play in the absence of bigger gods. This part happened somewhere between sacred nights and mornings. "The Montenegro child has already shown up." A young man gently pushed a pawn across the chessboard. Then, stopping his move right next to the White Queen, he settled the piece and looked up at his competitor. "Oh, she did?" His playmate, an older man in his seventies, countered that move by moving the White Queen to eliminate the pawn.

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

Marshall paused before continuing, "Uncle Wenham, I have a friend who owns a café, and a lot of people love playing chess there. If you're interested, I can take you there sometime." Wenham was about to agree but hesitated, considering his doubtful chess skills. So, he cleared his throat and said, "Chess is meant to be played in a quiet place. I prefer playing it at home. Come and play a few rounds with me whenever you're free."

I am on chapter 1700 and trust me this has to be the only book here that I have not lost interest in,i.e, the chapters have not dragged on and you literally are on the edge of your seat throughout the book. Enjoyed the whole book except the last few chapters.Hope the story doesn't become cliched now

What makes this story good are the characters, mainly the lead characters. Unlike other stories where the leads are usually portrayed as someone omnipotent with multiple hidden excellent identities, both Stella and Keegan have their own flaws and weaknesses, which made their characters more charming

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

I took a step back and let them have it. Back at the main chamber, I found Schnell with Bob. They were—of all things—playing chess. With magnetic pieces. On a stolen Control board. “He’s cheating,” Schnell said without looking up. “You’re using equations to optimize your pawn structure,” Bob countered. “I call it even.” They both glanced at me. “Didn’t peg you two for bonding time.” Schnell grunted. “We are not bonding.” “Not in ze slightest,” Bob said at the same time.
