How can it be that you…” Before Lotus could complete her words, Theodore tucked his hands into his pocket and straightened his back cockily. He brushed the both of them with a blasé gaze and pronounced, “A certain Mr. Zaire Ludovic is a manipulative, cocky bastard who will resort to scheming in order to get what he wants.”

The opening ceremony for Cynthion Group ended and people were beginning to leave; with all the cars in the way, Leon, Theodore, and the others did not notice Gilbert from the distance. "Theodore, what do you want?" Iris asked. "Iris Young, this is between me and this kid. Stay out of it. I don't want to hurt that pretty face of yours!" Theodore smirked devilishly as he scanned Iris's enticing features and seductive curves greedily. Like Anson, Theodore was one of the infamous playboys in Springfield City and was known to be as despicable as Anson.

“Twenty-eight years old.” My pulse quickened. “Height,” he said. “Six feet exactly.” I stared at him, my mind racing. “Personality,” he went on, tapping the knife lightly against his palm. “Inconsistent. Indecisive. Greedy.” A humorless smile touched his lips. “Very, very greedy.” Every word tightened the knot in my chest. There was no doubt now. He wasn’t guessing. He knew. Theo. Images of him flickered through my mind….his charming smile, the way he always seemed just a little too eager, a little too calculated beneath the surface. The way he inserted himself into situations that weren’t his business.

When he hesitated to hug me, gesturing at his sweaty shirt, I waved it off. “Come on, Dad. Since when did that matter?” I wrapped my arms around him in a quick hug. He chuckled, patting my back awkwardly. “Well, this is a pleasant surprise.” I pulled away, studying him discreetly. Theodore didn’t strike me as a bad person. He seemed like a simple man, content with his gardening and occasional small talk. Maybe Bertha was the real villain, and he was just along for the ride.

He has lovely full lips, a straight nose, bushy black eyebrows over the deepest black eyes and a head full of black hair. He’s very tall too, six foot five at least, his shoulders are broad and although he smells like someone poured gallons of alcohol on him, I know he smells quite delicious normally because of the scent still lingering in his room. If all customers were like Theodore, I'd actually be a stripper and I wouldn’t have to do shit like this.

I'm not supposed to tell this, but Mr Liam had a wife in the past, but the two divorced, and her absence caused a huge loss for him, and his personality worsened." This is the same thing I heard from my other two friends. If only they knew it was me all along. "So now he is better," I asked and he nodded. "Yes. And I think somehow he found happiness. He deserves the best." Mr. Theodore concluded. "And sorry for talking too much; he is someone I respect a lot." He apologized and I found his actions cute.

Augustus lowered his head in disappointment. He thought he was about to enjoy some gossip. “Tell me, why are you being so obsessed over this woman? You need to explain things to me. Please don’t tell me you’ve fallen in love with her at first sight. I would never have thought of you as a narcissistic person.” Theodore rolled his eyes. It turned out this was how the people around him thought of him. Theodore shook his head. He still did not share his thoughts with Augustus. After all, he had no further news of the woman and they had not conducted any DNA test.

And that was it. After that, life was different. It was hard for me and Fabian. Everytime we looked at her, we would feel the pull and we knew it was wrong. She was our brother's mate. Even though we didn't like Theodore very much --he was a self-obsessed narcissist who thought the world revolved around him. News flash: It fucking didn't-- we still knew there were lines one should never cross. So we would get away, and wouldn't stay much inside the castle. One night, Theo asked us to his study and said he wanted to talk.

Theodore threw his car keys at one of the assistants who greeted him near the elevator. A line of work was waiting for him. One by one the assistant gave their reports. Theodore is quite busy as a director of business development. Theodore's secretary had to arrange it in such a way so his boss could steal an hour or two each day to go see Alicia. Perhaps this was one of Theodore's charms that captivated Alicia. Theodore can be categorized as a hard worker. He's pretty smart in his business. The only thing he lacked was… a number in his age and maturity. His impulsive nature always unsettles those around him. He needs to improve a lot in that area.

She chuckled. “Forgive my manners, my lady.” He jokingly said. “Whoa!” She sighed, “Who would have thought that you would be so fun to chat with? Putting on a stern and rude persona, that’s not you. I prefer this.” Theodore shrugged, “I probably wanted to look powerful like my dad.” “Then you’re doing it wrong. Your father is in no way rude or whatever you think you’re copying from him.” “Do you know my dad?”
