“You are one naughty little kitten, aren’t you?” Amber smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief. “Naughty, but yours,” Amber purred, pressing a playful kiss to the tip of Axel's nose. “Though if you keep calling me a kitten, I might start meowing instead of purring.” Axel laughed, rolling onto his back and pulling Amber with him so that she straddled his waist. “You're lucky you're so damn cute, Amber Davis,” he said, tracing a lazy finger down the curve of her spine. “But maybe, if you're a good little kitten, I'll let you out of class early so we can pick up where we left off last night.”

Phoenix answers while grabbing my pants and pulling me towards the living room to sit down where Liliana, her mates, and our pups are sitting. “Thank you, Phoenix, they’re so beautiful, you are very thoughtful,” I thank her looking down at my beautiful little Lynx kittens that are nearly white with gold to dark brown spots and lines marking them. “You welcome, I knew you would lobe dem,” Phoenix giggles as she hovers and watches me sit with the kittens curled up I my lap and I start going to sleep. “I do, as they grow up, they can help me look over Gunnar and Ro Ro, and you’ll be able to play with them all you want when you visit,” I look over at Jonathan, who takes Roan from Ryder as Osric

’ All these questions were flying around my head, when suddenly the loud howl was heard again sending shivers down my spine as this sounded different like an outside communication. Whilst I waited to see if there was any further howling, I glanced at the alarm clock, seeing that it said 3am I sighed inwardly as I know that I wouldn’t be able to sleep now due to all the unanswered questions going on in my head. Getting up from the window seat, I headed to my bookshelf to pick up my favourite book, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, I switched on my lamp as I went past and got comfortable on the sofa to read until I had to get up ready for breakfast in a few hours as I knew I wouldn’t be able

The kittens were chaos wrapped in fur. Perfect, tiny chaos, but chaos nonetheless. Mochi, for example, already fancied herself a tiny menace. All black, sleek as midnight, with claws that always seemed sharper than nature intended. She squirmed and hissed at shadows in her sleep, a tiny dictator of darkness. Goose. Poor, delusional Goose thought he was a tiger. Bold orange stripes, puffed chest, constantly crawling over his siblings like he was conquering uncharted territory, never mind that his eyes hadn’t even opened yet.

She smiles as she climbs into bed. Kim smile as she moves over next to Brianna. I walk over taking a seat at the end of the bed as Kim open the book. "The very hungry caterpillar." She read the title to Brianna before opening the book. "In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf. One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and pop out the egg came a very tiny and a very hungry caterpillar." Kim looks over at me sitting on the end of the bed and smile as she turns the page and continues to read the book.

I pulled out a book from their shelf and read the first story I saw. "Once upon a time, there was a little kitten," The light dimmed and they both clung to me. "She lived with her mummy because she was all she had but then one day, there was a storm and they were separated—" I gulped down a hard lump. My eyes were filled with tears all of a sudden, soaking the edge of the paper.

And on the front porch stood Krishna, with all my sisters behind her. She looked at me with a stoic expression. "Finders, keepers!" I shouted at her. Her brows furrowed, obviously confused. I smirked and continued walking. I'm not letting her resurrect the Great Witch. And the only way, is finding the golden trinket first. I turned my back to the mansion I once called home and grabbed the keys to my black mini cooper car. It’s time to finally feel freedom and blend into the crowd of humans in the city.

“Come on, we can get a rabbit in the main road.” Miria nodded. Then she turned to the stairs, where the kitten was still sitting quietly. “Come on, Usha.” The little kitten stood up. “Ready to go? Alright. Lead the way!” the kitten meowed and started following them on their side. The three of them walked to the main road and saw several giant blue rabbit carriages on the side of the street. Barun was about to walk to the closest carriage when Usha ran to the farthest one. “Usha!!” Miria called him. “Oh grandfather, let me just get Usha,” Miria said to her grandfather before chasing after the little kitten. She didn’t want her only little companion missing in the kingdom. “Usha!!”

"Count to four. One, two, three, four. Hold it. Now out. One, two, three, four." She tried to follow my lead, but her breaths were still too shallow, too fast. "Again," I encouraged. "In for four. You're safe. Nothing is going to hurt you. Out for four." It took several minutes, but gradually her breathing began to slow. The wild panic in her eyes didn't completely fade, but it dimmed enough that I knew she was coming back to herself. "That's it," I murmured. "You're doing so well, little hunter."

“All is well now, Uncle. I just shot a rattler who had gotten in my path.” “Thank the Lord you saw the snake before he could strike.” Gabe urged his horse toward Emiline’s carriage. “I shall inform the others.” He stopped to the side and rapped on the door. “Aunt, there is nothing to fear.” Slowly, the door opened as his aunt’s white face appeared. “What happened?” “I killed a snake, is all. We shall be on our way now.” She offered a shaky smile before withdrawing back in the vehicle and closing the door.
