The Light Through His Darkness
Somewhere along the way, I must have drifted off because I was startled awake by a sudden jolt of turbulence, followed by the steady sound of heavy rainfall.
The plane shuddered and I quickly sat up, realizing a blanket was draped over me.
I looked around, spotting Justin just as he stepped out from the pilot’s compartment, his expression calm as he closed the door behind him.
"We’re passing through a tropical storm." He said, removing his tie and tossing it onto the seat. "We’ll get through it soon."
I nodded, still a bit unsettled. He remained quiet, unbuttoning the top of his shirt. I glanced away, toward the dark, foggy sky beyond the rain-streaked windows.
