Alex stared up at Aiden and said softly, even as a tiny bead of effort-induced sweat betrayed him. Addie skipped over, hands clasped behind her back. “Daddy, maybe you need a YouTube tutorial. Or Mommy’s help. She’s very good at knotting any kind of tie.” “Thank you for your faith in me, darling,” Alex deadpanned, and Addie giggled, covering her mouth with her palm. Alex squinted at the tie like it had insulted him. “I’m convinced this thing is smaller than it should be.” Sophia chuckled and gently nudged Alex aside. “Let me.”

I asked but he shrugged me off and kept at it. Struggling to stand up, I staggered towards him and pulled the tie from him, I put the tie around my neck and started knotting it. "First, you make sure the wide side is longer than the narrow one...Lastly, you put the wide side through the loop and pull the narrow side." I was surprised to see him listening to what I was saying, I took off the tie and motioned for him to collect it. "Whatever." He yanked it out of my hand and put it on.

A small strand of my brunette hair fell out of my messy bun while I was walking, reminding me that I haven’t used any scrunchie to keep them in place. It was his red tie that was holding my hair in place, even when I had a scrunchie with me. I kept the tie as a reminder of him, a reminder that would always be with me. It would be something that would remain with me for as long as I can keep it and nobody would question it, not even him because he would not even know where I am.

He wandered over , still trying to tie it on the way but failing again . "This is so fucking stupid" he snapped getting frustrated. I stood up infront of him and did his tie wit bc ease . "See you need me" I winked teasingly at him. "Stupid fucking tie , I wear one every day of my god damn life and I still can't tie it" he slammed his dresser shut , making me jump . He looked over at me .

“Let’s search there." We hurried to the spot and just in time, I saw Michael trying to tie Honey’s hands together. I slowed my steps and observed her. I was glad to see that she was alive. She kept trying to remove her hands from Michael’s grip and throwing all sorts of insults at him. Michael being the cocky bastard he was had responded to her insults with teasing remarks, but he hadn't let go of her hands. Fury rolled together like a huge ball within me as Honey grimaced when he tightened the rope around her finger. They seemed not to be aware of my presence.

She grips the imaginary thread that is everything he is to her, their bond, their love, his body sitting in front of her, and turns back to Chick, who smiles. “Good, keep that thread. Lose it and you might struggle to get out on your own. I’ll make sure you get back, of course, but it’s still a hassle neither of us wants.” Celine ties it around her wrist. Chick seems unsettled by that, “You shouldn’t be able to do that, I mean clearly, it’s possible. But for you to just naturally do that is both impressive and worrying at the same time. Untie it when we’re done, or we might have other problems.” Celine nods and focuses.
