Damon I’m sitting in my office about four hours before opening when there’s a knock on the door, “Come in,” I call, and the door slowly opens. Mikey is standing there with a broken plunger that is dripping water all over the floor, and I stare at him in disbelief. “Dude, what the hell?” I ask, pointing at that disgusting thing. “Why is THAT in my office?” “The woman’s toilet is clogged. I think they were flushing tampons again,” Mikey says with his face full of disgust.

Not that it ever was. We were waiting on Mikey Two-Times. Real nervous punk. Used to run money and drops for Damien before the whole Rossi operation started hiding in the shadows. Mikey wasn’t smart. Wasn’t loyal either. He was the type to crack under pressure, and that’s exactly what we needed. It was past two when he finally showed. Scrawny, hoodie up, eyes darting like he already knew he was being hunted. He stepped out the club, alone, walking fast down the sidewalk, head down. Like that would save him.

Dominic's POV "That's it, you're almost there. You're doing so good Mikey!" I said, trying to ignore his painful cries. But he's doing an amazing job. He's only been at it for 11 minutes, much faster than most for their first shift. I continue trying to soothe him and watch as the final part of his transformation happens, and his spine begins to reshape. I smile at the small little light gray wolf and lift his head, scooting closer so his head can rest in my lap.

“I hope so.” “Well, it's been fun, but I need to get home,” Mikey says as he stands to leave. Tanya and I stand to walk him toward the door. Before walking out the door, Mikey turns to face us. He grabs Tanya and pulls her into an embrace. “I’m glad that you remember who we are. I hated lying to you.” “Thanks for everything, Mikey.” “You’re welcome, sis,” Mikey tells Tanya before letting her go. He grabs me and pulls me into a hug. “Make sure you make this right,” Mikey whispers in my ear before letting me out of the embrace. I nod my head in understanding.

He cautiously walks towards us, no more running for this little guy, and once he was in front of me, he wipes his hands on his shorts once again before touching my tummy. “Wuna,” he said happily. Drake kneeled down and spoke with Mikey. “Did you get hurt? Do you feel any pain?” Drake asks. Mikey shook his head no. “Mwikey is stwong,” he showed Drake his tiny little arms and biceps letting Drake know that he was strong. “Wow, Mikey is a big boy now,” Drake said. Mikey nodded in agreement. “A big boy who can’t read,” Nori said as he approach us.

Once I was settled, Mikey started running again. ‘Where are we going?’ I asked. If Mikey knew that there was a backpack there, it only means that he knew this place. ‘Somewhere safe,’ he replied but didn’t say anything more. Mikey continued to run for another thirty minutes or so before stopping in front of a very big tree. He lowered himself telling me that it was safe to get down. Once I was standing, Mikey took the backpack in his mouth and went behind the very big tree with a very big hole and when he was back he was in his human form. Wearing tattered faded jeans and a white v-neck t-shirt.

I asked him. Nodding his head, he pointed at a ginger boy before saying, "That's Mikey. He's nice, just always quiet. He's the mom of the group, always making sure we do everything right and not get into trouble," he said while laughing a little. "Then that's James. He's mostly known for his games. He's the man-whore of the group, always with a lady once in a while, so don't get surprised," he said while glaring at me. Nodding my head, I looked at the other guy who had a black hoodie on then pointed at him.

“Yeah. Yeah. I know. Or I’ll be punished.” “Exactly.” He pulled away, giving me a heated onceover. When he walked out, it took a few seconds before I shifted my attention back to the computer. I typed in the name of the Russian mafia organization, finding more articles than I had on the Voltairs. After reading a few articles it had become apparent that they had no issue ruffling feathers, acting as if they owned the world. I started writing down a few notes, startled when I heard a man clearing his throat. I placed my hand over my heart as I peered at Mikey. “I didn’t see you standing there.” He has something in his hand. It looked like a hard drive. “What do you have there?”

The fragile peace they’d been living in for the past week and a half felt like thin ice—beautiful on the surface, but ready to crack with one wrong step. “Yo, boss lady,” Mikey called from across the bay, his voice cracking with that awkward teenage enthusiasm. The nineteen-year-old prospect was sprawled dramatically across a workbench, pretending to fan himself with an oily rag. “If you keep making these bikes sound like angry demons, I’m gonna start thinking you sold your soul to the devil. Or worse—Reaper’s dick.”

He said suddenly "Do you want to get eaten, Little Kitten?" I was surprised and bit my lower lip, so he said "Stop biting your lips." I immediately released my lips and he smirked. "How do you know?" he was about to reply when Miss Brain came and said, "How's it going Sioux and Yes Allie?" He was alert at the sound of Mary and he was like nothing was happening on here like in a serious mood and said: "Mary, I am almost done with turkey and the gravy and I am heading for Brie and apple tart now."
