I said getting the waffle iron out. Tora lost it sitting there at the table. She was laughing so hard she was crying. At least these were happy tears this time. It damn neared killed me to see her crying from pain just a few moments ago. She went to wash her face and change her clothes while I made our waffles.

Sandy froze. Her hand, still hovering near Tiana’s, dropped to her side. Her lips parted, but nothing emerged. For once, the youngest Toriaga, who had always had a quick word, a gentle defense, and a fierce loyalty, was utterly speechless. Her eyes filled with sudden tears, but she didn’t blink them away. She simply stood there, stunned into stillness, the coffee cups forgotten on the side table growing cold. Tiana’s gaze returned to Nikolai. Something glinted in her eyes: disbelief, fear, and a fragile trace of what might have been wonder. She swallowed once, twice. When she finally spoke, her voice was barely more than a whisper.

I struggled to talk still bursting in tears. “He’s dead” Ten slowly said standing beside Jack who had his finger on Mesmick’s cold hand. “No” he slowly said while moving back with his eyes widen. “HE CAN’T BE! NO! NO!” Everyone stood under the dark night with their heads down and tears runing down their faces. “NO!” Jack screamed crazily in pain.

And I suddenly realized that I owed her so much. “I’m fine. In fact, I’ve never felt like this okay. I’m a-alright, Lola.” She had leaned over towards me with alarm on her face. “If you’re alright then why are you crying?” Jigo had already cupped my face as my tears fell unchecked down my cheeks. “What’s wrong, baby? Do you hurt? Is it the food? What’s wrong?”

Alpha Ragas eyes stared lifelessly at the sky, and it tore my heart apart. The palace behind me went up in flames, but it still wasn't enough to warm Alpha Ragas' cooling body. “I'm so sorry. I'm sorry! I apologize!” I screamed, and Tristan rushed to me. He placed an arm around my shoulders, and my tears ran hot. My head was pounding, and my heart was squeezing. He closed Ragas' eyes softly, and I cried more, knowing those eyes would never happen. It made me scream again, and Tristan hugged me, and Ragas together. It felt like my life was ending. It was all just too much.

Tears came out of her eyes. " Dear lord." Isafora embraced her and she finally let her tears fall freely. " There, there. Don't cry. Please. I can't see you cry," Isadora begged on the verge of tears herself. All she wanted was to take her pain away but it was impossible. She hugged her tighter. That's all she could do. She was her shoulder to cry in until she had no tears left to cry. Alexa cried until she fainted. Isadora was afraid. It was the first time she had seen her in such a state.
