I smile down at him but it disappears with the realization that he can't see it. "Y-yeah, maybe." But a slight smile graces Nathaniel's lips. He tilts his face up to where mine is, but just a little off-center. When he does this I nearly drop my books. His face is thin but his jaw is squared. The glasses he wore are in fact not sunglasses, but framed glasses whose lenses adjust to the lighting. And right now, they are clear and show off golden brown eyes. His eyes look different though, as if a lunar eclipse overlapped the sun, haunted, as in ghostly around the pupils.

“When you pulled that same trick back then with the anonymous video you released at the live conference, I let it go, but not this time.” He paused, sensing the weight of my seriousness. He nodded slightly before speaking, “My friend overseas is the producer of the glasses,” he finally admitted, picking up his suit coat and heading upstairs. “Still, that doesn’t fully explain how you knew. How did you know Hayes bought those glasses? How did you know he’d show up?” I shot back, my resolve unyielding. Adam stopped mid-stride and turned to face me, a cryptic smile playing on his lips. “A magician doesn’t reveal his full tricks,” he said, chuckling softly, dimples visible as if teasing me.

The frames were sleek and black, and they accentuated his piercing eyes perfectly. His hair was tied in a pull-back style, revealing the sharp angles of his face, and emphasizing his chiseled features. The longer length of his hair made him look relaxed and approachable, a contrast to his usual tidy and polished appearance. As he gazed at me, his eyes seemed to bore into my soul, as if they could see right through me. I felt a shiver run down my spine as our eyes met, and I couldn’t help but notice the way his glasses made his eyes appear even more intense and piercing.

he looked around for a while then took off his glasses and raised his hoodie a little bit to show the glorious face of my one and only, Traven Spade. "Traven?" I grinned, spread my arms wide to pull him into an appreciative round of embrace. "How have you been?" He smiled smugly, put on his sunglasses again and let his hoodie return to its job of covering his face again and bringing back to life his previous creepy look. "What's with all this exaggerated outfit?" I moued, jutted out my hip and rested a hand on it with a disapproving thumbs down.

Tolu turned to her saviour and got a better look at his features. He was chocolate complexion with brown eyes hidden behind his glasses. He had a rather straight nose and high cheekbones. He was attractive even with his glasses that gave him the vibe of a professor. He had a straight and lean body but Tolu knew he was strong. He was cloaked in black pants and a shirt tucked roughly in but yet extremely attractive. He slipped one of his hands into his pockets and Tolu’s eyes returned back to his face. He was handsome. So handsome that Tolu found out that she couldn’t peel her eyes off him. The guy raised an eyebrow at her that brought her back to her senses.

I rush to his side and touch his shoulder to see whether he is fine or not. "You're alright?" I ask, and he nods. He takes off his glasses to rub his eyes. Then he looks at me with his beautiful baby blue eyes. He has blond hair, and I assure you that without his glasses and his nerdy clothes, he'll fucking sure as hell look hot. "Yeah, I am," he replies and glares at the wall. "I'm Nathan." He smiles.

The door opened and a bald man stepped out. "Miss Malik?" He asked, removing his shades revealing hazel-green eyes. "I'm Todd Collin, you're personal driver." "Hi Todd, Nice to meet you." I greeted the big headed bald man with hazel green eyes. He didn't look older than fifty. I wished I had other ways to describe him, but at this moment this was the only description I could come up with. He wore a black suit, the ones personal drivers wear, and he had white gloves on.

He’s smiling so at least he doesn’t think I’m the rudest person in the world for not listening to him. “I was just admiring your work ethic. Even on your day off, you’re here.” “Sorry to break it to you,” I smile in return. “But we’re here in a studying capacity.” He clutches his chest. “That hurt.” “The truth usually does,” Sabrina says, opening another text. He laughs, adjusting a pair of gold-framed lenses on his face. “I didn’t know you wore glasses,” I say, pointing to the lenses. “All that staring at computer screens and tiny text screwed up my twenty-twenty. I don’t need them all the time,” he shrugs.

Just as he reached it, Hayley stepped in front of him, arms spread, blocking the way. The man paused when he saw her. He wore dark sunglasses, hiding his eyes, but a faint smile touched his lips. "You're Holly, right?" Hayley froze for a second. The man slowly took off his sunglasses, revealing a pair of eyes that shimmered like stars. He looked around 40. Age hadn't worn him down. If anything, it gave him a steady, mature kind of presence. He was a different kind of good-looking than guys like Liam. What stood out most were his eyes.

Then, a man stepped out, dripping wet, and wearing nothing but a white towel low around his waist. My entire body froze. He crossed into the room slowly. Broad shoulders. Dark wet hair pushed back casually. Sharp jawline, shadowed faintly with a stubble. His gaze found mine, and…. Dear God! Cold grey eyes. Devastating recognition. This was the first time I had seen him in real life, but I'd recognise that face anywhere. Carlton Holland.
