The room was wide, at least twenty feet across. Two silver stone desks ran the extent of the compartment. Each desk also wielded a manuscript, balms of various ointments, a rack full of small clay pots, and assorted hefty bowls of paraphernalia that Tommy couldn’t recognize. Regardless, what really caught his interest were the ledges insulating the embankments. All concurrently, they held dozens of old codexes, animal skin scrolls, each marred with a silver runes label.
On the table, some of the fluids in the vials were shaded with rainbow color and some were murky, but most were clear. It was a veritable collection of magical concoctions.
