It was really odd leaving here to go live somewhere else. We drove down the highway until we reached Juniper Moon’s gates. The guards let us through and I followed Torin to his house. I was here yesterday and got to see his home for the first time. I loved it. It was a small ranch-style cabin with no upstairs, but still had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It wasn’t big and fancy, but I never expected that. What would make the home special would be the people that lived there and the memories we made together.

I glanced around and saw Jace watching with a sad face. "Because of family friendship, I have finally found my desired mate, so I am free from the bondage of being forced to take care of her. The moon goddess made her my mate, but I rejected her for Beta's daughter! Who will want the nerdy and outdated girl?" Torian spoke out to everyone, and there was an uproar of scorn.

I couldn't imagine what would happen when he used all his power. "I want to leave after we finish up here," Torus declared after gulping down his drink. He wanted to leave ever since training ended. But, Craig wanted us to sit and eat before anyone left for their home. Torus was not too happy and said as much. However, it did not phase Craig. He was immune to Torus's sharp tongue. Regardless, Torus joined us. After all, he couldn't swim all way to Antarctica and reach in time for Mitch's coronation. He needed Craig's teleportation spell to reach in time.

She looked around but could not see any.

Another growl rising. “You haven’t seen the last of me pup. I will be back. And when I do, he’ll be mine. All mine.” With that as his final threat does Kian finally flee. My body slow in sitting up until the force of someone crashing into me sends me falling back towards the bed. My arms coming to wrap themselves around the person in question. Tori. Our Tori. Hot tears soon soaking my shirt as Tori just cried. “Easy little one, your safe.”

Fixing her messy golden ringlets to the other side of her neck, Tori gave Chief Keiran an alluring smile. "Can I come in?" If we lived in my time as Talia, I would have expected a different outcome from your question. Opening her door to give him access to enter her room, Tori replied. "It would be my pleasure, Your Grace." The stiff-looking young chieftain walked briskly to the seat that Tori occupied earlier. With his back on her, Tori looked slowly towards him. "Why are you here, Chief Keiran?" He only glanced at his back where she was standing, not fully facing her. "Your strategy. Where do you learn to make something like that? It's – "

“Don't act like you didn't deserve it.” Connel's fists clenched at his sides. "Ariel has nothing to do with this.” “Oh, but she does,” Tori said softly, rising from the couch. “You're making her part of it. Dragging her into your world. Your family's mess. The things we both know can't stay buried forever.” Connel stepped forward, face inches from hers. "Say Vienna again and I swear...” “What, Connel?” she whispered, eyes gleaming. "You'll threaten me? Silence me? like you tried to do to me?"
