He scrambled to shut it off. "No... no, this isn't real. A ticket. I need a ticket home..."
Five hours later, Brian was back in Montedra, at the house he'd once shared with Shiloh.

I trailed Brian upstairs. He shoved into the bedroom and stopped cold. His eyes locked on the black-and-white photo on the nightstand—my funeral portrait, the one I'd taken myself.
