Once she was completely naked she closed her eyes and began to Shift into her raven form. I had never seen anyone but Arden Shift before, so watching as her bones snapped and rearranged beneath her skin shocked me. Sleek black feathers sprouted out of her changing body and her arms morphed strangely, appearing more and more like wings. Her legs thinned out and quickly slipped out of the shackles, her wings too thin and becoming nothing more than feathers and delicate bones dropping the chains with a loud clunk. Her soft face became covered in fluffy little feathers as well, with a beautifully curved beak replacing her mouth and nose.

Under parental supervision, of course, so even baby Ryū could participate. Reese got a peacock, or I guess that’s what it’s supposed to be. The body was made with Ryū’s foot, and all the feathers in vivid blues and greens were made with their fingers. While I got a phoenix? Xander was silent, the wings painted on the walls briefly depicted the wings of a bird. However the carving was much bigger and more thorough, Xander shrugged his shoulders "I don't know what wings they are! But could they be angel wings or something similar to a winged creature?"

But I couldn't help but take a quick look. He placed his shirt on the ground and I saw dark feathery wings slowly emerge from his back. I was mesmerized as the wings stretched out, wide open, and I was amazed at how big and beautiful they were. I can't change the color, but I like the dark shimmery blue of my wings. I can shape it into spikes sharp-edged appendages to hurt and maim. And a trick I know is that I can separate my wings from my back temporarily. It hurts a little, but the stunts I can do by doing so are worth it. Like scaring Mike. He seriously thought my wings came off when I first tried this trick. His expression was priceless. Also, they're bulletproof. Not actually, but when the wings and bullet meet, the bullet is in for a surprise. Not to mention, somebody as klutz as me can use two extra hands, which my wings are more than willing to meet as a requirement.
