I didn't know what he was thinking, and if I could read midns like he could, then I guess he wouldn't have had anything to keep to himself. Wolves couldn't read minds. We only went with our instincts, and our nostrils that could go lengths, while vampires could do their stuff, and even read minds. That was what Xander could do, he usually read the minds of people, those girls that loved to he around him, and just took their heats and read them. Though he wasn't able to do that to me most of the time, I knew that I couldn't have done it either. Why the hell was he suddenly gloomy, and why was he looking that way?

My fingers flew and tapped on my screen faster than they ever had. “If it is so amazing then show it.” It was a challenge. And one that I would rather not take. “J-Just a minute. Here, it is. Oh, wait. Wrong tab. It’s actually-” Xander did not let me finish what I was about to say because he took the tab from my hands and began reading the contents. I did not know what article he was on because the back of my tablet was facing me. I just hope that whatever he was looking at right now would pass his taste.

"Including you, Ransom. None of your regular shit with ladies. You treat her well, or you answer to me and TTW, over there." Xander snorted. His face was a little livelier now. His voice only the tiniest bit slurred on the mental link connection. "I don't know what I am, yet. But I know I want her. I guess she and I will have to figure that out for ourselves. Her kisses pack a fucking punch though, bro." He gave into a full body shiver.

I called instinctively, though he hadn’t yet appeared. A second later, there he was—standing in front of the kitchen counter, proudly holding up a large box, his face beaming with joy. “Mommy, look! Aunt Emily got me this! It’s the Transformer X-10—the coolest one ever!” he shouted, eyes sparkling. He held the box up high like a trophy, showing off the robot toy he’d dreamed of for so long. The knife in my hand froze mid-air. My breath caught in my throat. Transformer X-10.

My entire body buzzes with excitement as Scarlett itches to get out of the car, clawing to find Slade. As we approach the gate, something changes as warriors pour out of the woods surrounding the car, their uniforms different from New Moons. "Fuck," Xander says, slowing the car, before placing it in park and leaving it in idle. Keeping his hands on the steering wheel the nerves rolling off of him in spades as he rolls down the window, a warrior walking forward to talk to us.

I walk to them and sit beside Xander, I put the bottle of water on the table and Damien gives me a questioning look/ “Are you going to explain to me what’s going on?” “Xander has PTSD and a slight case of mania and I’m also starting to believe that this house is haunted,” I sigh, rubbing Xander back. “You mean you think there is a ghost in this house?” “Yes, he’s the one that’s always breaking stuff,” Xander cries out, “He’s always haunting me and terrorising me.” “I don’t understand,”

Mikael said as if knowing my thoughts. "I gotta go, Lilith might need me." Mikael patted my back before walking out. Just when I thought I had peace, Xander walked into the library. He had his evil smirk on like he had just won a jackpot. He reeked of alcohol and the scent of the mistresses he had just had fun with. "Bro, greetings and salutations. Just dropping by to thank you for the slaves, you aren't a piece of shit after all, they looked tasty." He whispered the last part in my ears.
