Lauryn: The Shunned Beta

Lauryn: The Shunned Beta

I confirmed. I nodded and went back to my room to take a shower. I went to the library early to wait for him. While waiting, I took some poetry books from a shelf. "They're all very good, but why are they just left here?" A librarian who was passing by overheard me and replied, "Most of the pack members prefer to hunt or train rather than read, so the library is not very well-visited. But Alpha Matthew loves books and encourages us to read, so we keep it well-stocked for those who are interested."

Everyday For The Thief: A Chaotic and Poetic Mafia Romance

“About my little stunt the other day... my apologies. Today, I’m planning a quieter outing.” Marcello’s eyes were watchful. “As you wish, Ms. Vancouver.” “I was thinking of visiting a charming little library in Greenwich Village,” Claudine continued. “My brain needs a vacation from all these real-life dramas. A little book therapy.” “The Boss has huge bookshelves, Ms. Vancouver,” Marcello pointed out, his voice flat. “And you can always order any book you want.” Claudine sighed dramatically. “Oh, Marcello, it’s not the same! This particular library has a very rare first edition I’m hoping to glimpse. It’s a matter of... literary pilgrimage. You can’t just order a spiritual experience, can yo

Luna To The Blood Cursed Alpha

Luna To The Blood Cursed Alpha

I walked slowly and quietly down the hallway because I was heading somewhere I shouldn’t be. I made a turn and walked a few more steps before the large double doors of the library stood in front of me. The wood was carved, designed, and polished in a way that made it look imposing. I hesitated for a second before pushing the door open. I walked into the quiet library, my eyes scanning the massive space. Shelves stretched from floor to ceiling, lined with books and scrolls that held the history of the packs, wars, and things that had happened way before I was even born.

One Night Stand with my Husband

One Night Stand with my Husband

She looked casual as she had expected herself to so she nodded her head in confirmation ready to go. She picked up each book and stuffed them into a canvas bag. With a canvas bag slung over her shoulder, Elaine stepped through the library's grand entrance. The familiar scent of aged pages and polished wood greeted her, invoking a sense of calmness that only a library could offer. As she made her way to the desk, Elaine couldn't help but admire the library's well-organized arrangement. The books were neatly aligned on shelves, grouped by genre and marked with labels indicating their respective categories. Fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and poetry each had their dedicated sections, creatin

The full library is the correspondence. He wrote in the pocket notebook: May city library visit — the six other rooms. The honest conditions already present: lower ceiling, forty centimetre warmth, reaching shelves, internal window, four-sided carrel, courtyard reflected light. All accidents. The library building its honest conditions in the wrong order. The section puts them in the right places and makes them intentional. The library is full of honest conditions it does not know it has. "Alright, Luna Amanda. We will take you to the library." As they made their way through the pack's territory, Amanda felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. The Quest Of The Sapphire Crown

From historical tomes detailing the origins of the Sapphire Crown to scientific treatises exploring the mysteries of the universe, the library was a treasure trove of wisdom waiting to be discovered. The library doors opened, welcoming the first visitors of the day. A group of children, their faces bright with anticipation, made their way to the storytelling corner. They were followed by a group of teenagers, their backpacks heavy with textbooks and notebooks, heading for the study tables. Then came the adults, some seeking knowledge for personal growth, others for professional development, their steps echoing the rhythm of the city's shared heartbeat.

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

She’d felt a bit creepy walking through this huge empty structure, the only one in the building, but had put it out of her mind as she’d hurried up the steps, her shoes clicking as she went, and quickly lost herself in the stacks. Luckily her library had a reputation for its vast collection of rare volumes, which is what had lured her to accept a job here. They also had a constant traveling exhibit, books on loan from other universities and collections; as fate would have it, October was “Occult Month,” and they had several additional volumes on loan that they normally didn’t—some of the rarest in the world, in fact.

I turned to look at him and raised my one eye-brow, trying to intimidate him more. “But?” “Nothing we need to be worry of, it’s just nobody had asked for the books like them in ages and I fear with the passage of time they are lost for good in the library.” He said hesitatingly. Shit. I should know it; the library was good for nothing except for rom-coms. “So, I have travelled exactly 300 miles for nothing?” my blood boiled and the librarian shook visibly in fear. He took several steps backwards before he remembers something.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!
