Trevor Noah's Mom Novels & Stories

We didn't hear our bedroom door open, we hear someone clear their throat and we look up to find Noah's mother standing in our bedroom. "Mom! What the hell?" Noah exclaims grabbing the comforter to close me and him. "Sorry for just barging in, but I called you honey and you didn't pick." His mom says standing at the foot of our bed talking to us like I'm not just naked underneath the comforter with her son. "What are you doing in Palm Springs? And in our bedroom for Godsake." Noah says frustratedly. "I need to talk to you about your father, did you talk to him about me?" His mom asks.

A dangerous pause filled the space between them, both men breathing hard, both staring at each other's mouths like they’d forgotten how to speak. Noah pressed on, his words laced with cutting, icy venom. "That background check you ran? Money well spent." His eyes never wavered, his gaze fixed and unblinking, his voice flat and mechanized. The kind of calm that signals the imminent shattering of a dam. "It’s true," he admitted, "I don’t have any family living in Crestwick." His jaw tensed painfully, each word a betrayal of his own past he’d fought so hard to conceal. Yet he forced the damning truth out. "My mom’s in Linden Hollow Cemetery."

My mom even brought me to Wood Town on purpose because she didn't want me living with my dad. "Now you get how I feel, right?" "My mom and dad's divorce was messy, Noah." "And you think my mom's death was a good way for my dad to marry Rebecca? My mom died, and my dad's just chilling with another woman. My mom was sick while my dad was messing around with someone else. You think that's cool? I saw my mom die right in front of me! You think that's cool?!" I was taken aback by Noah's outburst. I didn't know his mom had died. I didn't know what his life had been like. Okay, now I get why Noah is so mad at his dad.

"And maybe completely screwed up because her mom is a doctor who works all the time and is still dealing with abandonment issues? And her dad . . . is a has-been football player who doesn't know she exists?" "First of all, Noah is not a has-been, and you know that. He'll figure out a plan for his second act any day now, and when he does, watch out. He's going to rock it. He just needs to get past this huge self-pity party. Second, he'll know his daughter-or son-exists because you're going to tell him. And then the two of you will decide the best way forward for both of you." Her eyes dropped to my stomach. "For all of you."

she said, walking ahead of him. Noah’s mother lived in a two-story log cabin-style house inside an exclusive subdivision. According to him, Ara's family owned large estates in that part of Tagaytay. “Are you sure your mom isn’t home?” Ingrid asked as they got out of the car. Noah wrapped an arm around her waist and guided her to the front door. “She told me yesterday she’d be away the whole weekend. She’s with my aunt, visiting friends in Laguna. She lives alone, and I think a helper comes here three times a week.”

"I'm Adeline... You are?" "Crystal... Crystal Noah. Cyrus's in-law," she replied and shook her soft hand. "Oh... It's you," Adeline said with a blank expression. Now, Crystal got curious and opened her mouth to ask her what she meant but Adeline's phone rang. "Sorry, my Uber driver is here," she said after pulling out her phone. "It's nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Noah. Good night." Crystal waved at the woman, still confused about what she had said. With a shrug of her shoulders, she turned away.

I nodded and closed my door. I called my mother again. Still nothing. I called Sandra. She picked up on the third ring. "Hello, ma'am." "Where is my mother? She is not answering her phone." I blurted. "She stepped out to the mall. She left her phone on the table. I told her to take it, but you know how she is." I exhaled. "Okay. Where is Noah?" "He is at school, ma'am," she said. "Oh, true. Okay, thank you." I dabbed the heat that had gathered on my forehead and hung up. I sat at my desk. My hands were still shaking. I covered my face with my hands for a minute.

I knew his mother meant the world to him, and I’d gladly be part of that side of his life. “Of course. When are you free? I was actually planning to visit her next week.” “Perfect.” The days passed quickly, and soon it was time for us to visit his mother. Kiara Marie Tenorio-Salvador 1970–2007 Kayden carefully placed the flowers before we sat down. “Hey, Mom. This is Noah, my boyfriend and fiancé.” He looked at me and smiled warmly. “Hi, ma’am,” I said shyly. “She’d be happy if you called her Mom.”

How can a cheap whore like you compare to a woman like that? Someone started thinking about this and said, "Rumor has it that Connor Milford's foster mother is only three years older than he is. Could she really be…" Ruby interrupted the person with a sneer and pushed the glass shard in her hand into my mouth. "How is that possible? Shouldn’t I know what kind of person Chloe Henderson is? Being a cheap whore is in her DNA. "She was born this way, but has always been deluded into thinking she’s someone else. Why else would she copy me back in high school? She probably told people that she was the Saunders heiress rather than me!"

I didn't want her to ridicule me. Mom stared at me and sighed. She placed her fork down and approached me. My back tensed as I dug my nails into my palms. Fear gripped my heart. I was terrified that she was going to say something. I didn't want to hear her say that word again. However, Mom simply kneeled down next to me and brushed her fingers gently along the back of my swollen head. "I lived a tough life, Claire. There were a lot of children in my family, and your grandparents didn't like me. Eventually, I got to marry your father, but unfortunately, he died young."
