Trouble When You Walked In Novels & Stories

I could learn a skill, I didn't want to be a burden to any one. The lemon juice was going to be a waste here, I walked out of my room slowly and shut the door. I couldn't see anyone around, I walked down the stairs bare footed and with the lemonade glass in my hand. I took my last step down the stairs and instantly bumped into someone. The glass fell to the ground and made a pretty loud noise. I couldn't believe I was already causing trouble on my arrival.

I could hear the concern in his voice. I smiled weakly. “I will be okay.” I picked up the tray, feeling unsteady on my feet, and turned and began walking to where Sweet and his companions sat. Then, Crash! I had walked right into trouble.

They all knew the rules except me, who stood there confused. Everyone had walked in pairs, leaving only me. I was left without a partner. When I tried to walk in, the man at the entrance stopped me. “You need to have a partner to gain entry,” his loud, muscular voice echoed. “There is no one left to partner with,” I tried explaining, but the door was shut in my face. He was not ready to listen. “Please sir,” I knocked, trying to make him see reason, but the door did not open. I moved away from the door and headed to the window to see if I could catch a glimpse of what was happening inside.

The doors opened. I stepped inside. The moment the doors closed, I leaned against the wall and shut my eyes. My breathing was getting worse. Something wasn't right. The elevator stopped on my floor. I stepped out. My shoes dragged against the floor as I made my way to my room. I reached the door. My hand trembled slightly as I unlocked it. The door opened. I stepped inside. I barely made it two steps. My hand hadn't even touched the bed when my knees suddenly gave out.

I turned it off with shaking fingers and walked away. I didn't look back. I was in so much trouble.

I refused to stay in the dark, piecing together scraps like a fool. That was when the door opened. Laney bug face walked in with a wide, irritating smile. Uck. Of course.

They went down with her. “Next time you want to spread shit about me, remember I don’t do well with rumors.” With that, I walked out. Straight out of the building and into the daylight. I just walked, with no clear sense of direction, or where I was going. I walked faster, one foot in front of the other. My breathing shook, my entire body trembled. What the hell had I just done?

Then leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead. “Be good,” I whispered. “Don’t grow too fast without me.” My chest tightened. I forced myself to step back. If I stayed any longer, I knew I wouldn’t leave. The house felt wrong the moment I walked in. “Hello?” I called out, dropping my bag by the door. “Anyone home?” Nothing. A small frown formed on my face. “Strange…” I walked further in, my footsteps echoing slightly. “Maria?” I tried again. “Jade?”

I added and finally got the chance to walk out of the room. I walked out of the room, the weight of my conversation with Kasy still heavy on my mind. The reality of the tangled web I found myself in was suffocating, leaving me feeling trapped and helpless. It seemed that at every turn, I encountered a new problem, each more complex than the last, and I struggled to find a way out.

As I walk through the hotel, my thoughts keep drifting back to Blake and the mystery that surrounds him. I was so caught up in my own thoughts, I walked into a wall. I fell over, landing ass first with an "oof". Embarrassed, I quickly looked around to see if anyone had witnessed my clumsy moment. That’s when I realized the so called wall wasn’t a wall after all! It was Blake!
