Novel & Cerita True Luna: Finding My True Mate

I could only force my heavy legs to take slow, painful steps. Thankfully, my twin sister, Noelle, appeared just in time, like a savior. She rushed over to me, urgently. "Naomi, you have to run! Dad is planning to give you to Joshua, the Beta of Snowmoon Pack, as his mate! I heard Joshua had a witch do a special reading. If he completes the mating ceremony during his 60th birthday party tomorrow with a virgin female werewolf, he can extend his life. If you can just make it through tomorrow, you'll be safe!

I turned to her, maybe if I appealed to her feminine side, I would win. "Luna" I bowed and greeted. "All my life, I have been searching for a mate. Someone that could complete me and make me happy. Never had I thought I would find her in your pack. How lucky could I have been?" She smiled. It felt like I was gaining my way into her heart. I liked the feeling.I continued, "I found my mate on the ground somewhere in the woods. Thank goodness I was there, she would have ended up dead. The woman I loved would have lost her life"

Cara gives me a small wave. “As you all know, I have waited a very long time to find my mate.” Liam says as he turns to face me again. “Never, in all my imagining could I have dreamed that the Moon Goddess would bless me with such an amazing woman. She is kind and loving, yet fierce, protective and strong. She is a Luna worthy of this pack, and I couldn’t be prouder to make her my Luna today.” As the pack members cheer, he mouths to me, “Ready?”

I didn't want to be standing for their scrutiny. Lobo clapped his hands together loudly and the room quieted down, all eyes turning to him. "I thank you all for joining me here tonight. I know we do things differently, and we would all prefer to go back and live our lives," he paused, "But it is very important that we stick together right now. We are all under attack from those who feel unsafe around us. We will get to that in a minute though," he smiled at me, "I have important news that concerns you all. We have a Luna, I have found my mate and marked her. I expect she will be treated with respect."

“oh, you think you’re going to be Luna? I glared at her and didn’t answer, I know I’m going to be his Luna, but it’s not confirmed yet, tonight is our eighteenth birthday, I don’t know if Larry has turned yet, he promised me that even if I’m not his mate, he won’t go looking for his true mate. That’s why we decided to go to the cabin, so we can mate and mark each other, no matter what the outcome was, mates or not He told me that didn’t want to build a connection with anyone else, and neither did I, even if we did find our mates afterwards, we didn’t care, as long as we were together, that’s how much we mean to each other, I am his true love and he is mine, and that’s how I know that l’ll be

I need to get Tala out of out here. “ I'm not falling for your tricks Lucas. You can say all you want but I'm here to fetch my mate.” “ Mate you say? Did you see how she looks exactly like Elena?. The moon goddess brought her to me and gave me a second chance to love.” “ You might have been the one who brought her into this pack but the moon goddess led her to me here in this forest.” I watched as Lucas continued talking and I understood why he's so drawn to her, true Tala looked like Elena ( Lucas ex mate) who died while giving birth to Lucas child.

I teased, feeling her laughter vibrate against my chest. Luna stared up at me with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Like mates for life?" she asked playfully. I smiled down at her. "Exactly like mates for life," I replied, knowing that our connection was stronger than any bite could create. I have yet to tell her that she is my mate in every sense of the word, destined to be by my side for eternity. But for now, I'll let her enjoy the playful banter and the warmth of our bond. If anyone knows that I found my mate in Luna, a war could erupt among our kind. No one will accept a human for Luna. But I am willing to fight for her and protect her at all costs, even if it means going against our o

“I don’t know what I want from you. But you have spent so long trying to run from me in fear of hurting me that even now when there is no danger, you try to run still.” He watches me, then runs a hand down his face, looking worn out and tired. “I am trying to do what is best.” He sighs. “And what exactly is the best mode here?” I ask him. “We are granted only one true mate. ONE. that is you. I am the Luna, Lachlan. The queen of the supernatural. Do you truly think it would be a good look for me to deny my mate when I am meant to ensure the laws and rules of everyone?”

“Get it removed before it goes deeper. If the magic reaches your heart… Only a true mate’s mark can override it. The bond has to be real and it has to be strong enough to burn out the fake magic.” My stomach dropped. “But you just said—” “I know what I said.” His shoulders were rigid. “You should find a solution Luna.” Then he was gone, disappearing into the forest like he was never there. Vincent’s hand settled carefully on my shoulder. “Astrid,” he said quietly, waiting until I looked at him. “I’ll contact you in a few days. About claiming Silvermist… and what comes next.” His gaze softened slightly, but the weight of it didn’t lessen.
