True Luna: Rejected By My Mate Read Online Free Novels & Stories

"He's bleeding because of you." "He's lying!" I'm screaming now. I don't care. "I don't know why, but he's lying. Your mother is lying. Ask anyone who actually knows me—" "Enough." The word hits like a slap. Caden stands in front of me, taller than I remember, colder than I've ever seen him. The torches flicker behind him like even fire is scared to get too close. "The ceremony is void." He says it loud enough for everyone to hear. "I, Alpha Caden Ahearn, reject Selena Hayes as my mate and future Luna. From this moment, the bond is broken. She is nothing to me."

I nodded with a smile. "And then we ca---," but just as Rosalie was about to speak with a smile on her face, Atticus interrupted her. "Wait, let them reject each other first," he clearly wanted it to happen soon. "I, Luna Cynthia, reject you as my mate," I told Enzo. "I accept your rejection, your highness," he smiled. Rosalie and Enzo left a few minutes later, and my father came out of the room.

he said, his tone different from that night. "...You know the truth. You can smell me. I am your mate," I tried to convince him, but he shattered my heart. "Even if you were my mate, I wouldn't accept a useless omega as my Luna. I would reject you immediately," he declared, lazily toying with the glass in his hand. I couldn't believe my mate would join in ridiculing me. My heart felt like it would stop. Struggling to make a sound, even a weak one, I managed to say, 'So you're rejecting me...'

It never ended quietly. The distant howl of a wolf echoed outside. The maidens flinched, glancing toward the windows. “Go back,” Luna said. “Hide that oil. Forget this rebellion.” But they didn’t move. Instead, Mara reached out and brushed Luna’s wrist, her fingers trembling. “You should understand better than anyone. You wear his mark, but your eyes say you don’t belong to him.” Luna pulled away. “You don’t know what you see.” “Then tell us what you are,” Mara challenged. “Prisoner or queen?”

"The Moon Goddess was kind enough to bless me with a new mate after you rejected me. It just goes to show how much of a wicked mate you are. We can never go back to the way we were, Noah." I took a step closer to his kneeling form, leaning forward until we were almost touching noses. "Now, I want you to read my lips very, very carefully, because I am not going to repeat myself. I, Astra, Luna of the Moon Stone Pack, reject you as my mate. I reject you, Noah." Immediately I repeated those words, Noah gasped and staggered backwards, clutching his chest. It was as though my rejection had affected him physically, as though it was a literal punch to his fragile heart.

“That is… uncanny.” Kael looked between them, bewildered and faintly offended. “Who are you?” he demanded. “Orion,” Luna said before her mate could produce something ridiculous. “My mate. Elia. Our healer. They are very annoying. You will fit in.” Kael’s eyes went wide. “Mate,” he repeated, staring at Orion. “You… you are the one who rejected her.” Orion blinked. Luna pinched the bridge of her nose. “Of course he told your mother *that*,” she muttered. “And not, say, anything about character growth.”

"Okay, listen. You're so dumb and slow in the head to read the room. You're timid and naive as fuck, you come from a lowly, unknown pack, compared to me. I'm the Beta of one of the most powerful pack and I'm going to be the next Alpha after my father. You don't fit in my world, you don't belong there and I don't want you there. So let me spell it out for you." Then his eyes turned amber yellow, his inner wolf coming out. The air in the hallway suddenly turning shivering cold. With his eyes locked on mine, "I, Zayne Marshall, Beta of Blue Moon pack, reject you Dahlia Grande as my mate and future Luna." My heart squeezed tightly against my chest and shattered in million pieces. I watched as Zay

I placed my hand on my chest as my heartbeat became faster than normal. Aliya slapped her, and everyone's attention was on us, including Ryder, who was busy with something important. “How dare you say such a thing?” Aliya asked her angrily. “Did I tell a lie? Why don’t you ask her yourself? She was married to Alpha Daniel, and now she’s about to be with his brother. Is this the kind of woman you are? Just too desperate to be the Luna of the pack.” I was utterly embarrassed. I couldn’t say a word because at the end of the day she seemed right.

I knew they were happy about my rejection this time. “Your Beta will be hurt if he sees your flat face right now, even after he rejected you,” said Linda, my stepmother. Beside her, her Beta daughter also looked at me with a scornful face. “Let it go, Mother. A pretty Luna like her doesn't know how hard it is to get a Mate,” Chandite Magenta said. “Even if you get rejected today, you can just open your legs the next day. And, boom! You'll get a new Mate just as easily. Fucking cheap.”

Leo had gone too far tonight. “I, Amberle Crest, reject you as my mate and make a blood oath to the Moon Goddess, vowing to become a strong wolf and an ally to her in exchange that you never find your second-chance mate until you repent for treating me, your true mate, as nothing but worthless trash for all these years leading to tonight.” I hold my hand open and slowly cut a long slice into my palm. Blood begins flowing up into the air out of it and evaporates under the moonlight into the night. The knife drops from my hand onto the wooden dance floor with a loud thud, followed by an agonizing scream from Leo as I turn on my heels and begin to make my way out of the meadow. The crowd parted
