True Luna: Rejected By My Mate Read Online Free Novels & Stories

“Hey, Jackie.” “James, what’s the matter? You aren’t still upset about finding out about that fatty freak Alex being your mate, are you? I thought you rejected her?” “I did, but the mate bond hasn’t fully evaporated yet, so it's a bit difficult right now but don’t worry, you are still going to be my Luna.” Jackie was not happy when I told her that Alex was my true mate, but once I told her that I rejected Alex, then she seemed a bit happier, Jackie is the right choice for a proper Luna.

In our future together. I opened my eyes as I exhaled and leaned against the column, staring up at the barn’s ceiling. As stupid as I felt now, how was I supposed to see it coming? The other fated mates I’d met in our pack accepted each other openly and publicly, even if they were otherwise private people. The same went for the wolves I’d encountered from other packs. A fated mate bond was just that — fated. I’d never heard of anyone rejecting their mate before, and I’d never heard of anyone being rejected, either. Fights? Sure, all couples fight sometimes. Falling out? Yep. Sometimes they lasted weeks, months even, but in the end, the mated pair always found their way back to each other. Th

I traced the scent and found that it was stronger when I got close to Lucas and I even felt a strong feeling of attraction to him. I got closer to where he stood and took his hands in mine, causing him to turn his attention to me, “you are my mate” I declared confidently. I couldn’t miss the look on his face as he withdrew his hands from mine. “I am not your mate. I would rather have your sister as my Luna, you really don’t know your place” he thundered. “I reject you as my mate. I was only nice earlier because I needed to show you the way around. Don’t mistake my kindness for something else” he issued a warning. I felt a deep pant as I heard the words ‘reject’

I need her to accept my rejection, or I’ll be stuck with her forever. I won’t be able to mark or mate with another strong she-wolf worthy of being my Luna.

He opened his mouth, and with a voice cold and unyielding, he said the words that would shatter her world forever: “I reject you, Aria Mooncrest.” The crowd gasped in shock. Whispers rippled like wildfire through the courtyard. Aria froze, her lungs seizing as though invisible hands had wrapped around her throat. The words echoed in her skull, breaking her heart with merciless precision. “I…” Her voice cracked, barely a whisper. “You… what?” Rion stepped forward, his tone sharp, meant for the entire pack to hear. “You are unworthy to be my Luna. Weak. Fragile. A disappointment to this pack.”

I said, my reply sounding like a question. “Getting there,” Alec muttered, his eyes gleaming in delight, he was enjoying whatever this weird encounter was. “say it,” he mouthed, edging himself closer to the edge of his chair. “Hades mate,” I whispered in a low tone, my head dropped in fear. Alec barked out a loud laugh, the room rumbled at the force of his laughter. “There it is,” he muttered. “The rejected Luna, trapped in the middle of an unreciprocated love,” he said.

My beta said to me and I frowned. "What do you mean? Lukas is injured and he should be resting." I said as I sat up on the bed. "Of course, he should. But then I don't think he had a working brain in his head. "He's claiming that you're his mate. I wanted to remind him that you rejected him but then Ace stopped me." My beta continued to say and I winced at the tone of her voice. "You know he rejected me." I pointed out and my beta snorted.

"You speak of us as if you have any clue of what transpired between us. You think your sister pursued me but it was I who pursued her! I pursued her because I saw right away how much better than you she was and I knew that I would be making a grave mistake if I made you my Luna. Look at you. You're cheap and immature. Why didn't you tuck your tail between your legs and disappeared like you intended to? You think you're so much better than her, don't you? You thought you were irreplaceable." Rae narrowed her eyes at him. "I am irreplaceable. I am better than her. At least I didn't spread my legs for a male who hadn't even asked for my hand as she did! You're trying to justify what she did bec

My head shot up before I even realized it, and I found him standing too closely before me, his sharp eyes inserted into my skull as though he was already thinking of digging my grave. “Alethea Maddox,” He started, his jaw flexing as he uttered my name. “You don’t get to decide for me who’s worthy of being my Luna. I make my own decision. Now, leave.” He rasped, turning away from me and striding toward his seat, or so I thought. Instead, he halted at the table, snatched the document, and I gasped out loud.
