The moon goddess then laid a hand on each of our heads, and then she disappeared. And before I got to think of it, I felt my body cracking, and I stood on my two feet.

Tiernan must have seen the panic in my eyes because he increased the pressure on my hand and gave it a lingering kiss before he said, "I vow fealty to the Twilight Star, daughter of my king, heir to the Twilight throne, and Extinguisher of those who would stand against us." Applause came from the fairies behind him, and I gave him a grateful smile. Although, the others didn't realize it, Tiernan had just secretly told me that I was still a Sloane; still the woman I was raised to be. I may have just been crowned the Twilight Princess, but I was an extinguisher long before I had ever set foot in Fairy, and I would be one until my own light went out forever.

Tara told me that she is in a way a hybrid Phoenix as the fact that she has two different forms she can shift into, both the fire and the ice, her fire Phoenix’s name is Danika, and her ice Phoenix’s name is Zorya, Danika means Morning star, she who brings the morning light, and Zorya means Blue sky. I told her that I was a hybrid as well, but I had a wolf named Midnight Rose and a dragon named Crimson Rose. Tara said that she liked that both my shifter names had Rose in it, she also fell in love with Alma, the sweet pup she is, and completely agreed that I should have the room with the small balcony.

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

Nate was aware that her coven had never taken well to the unwritten agreement between the magical beings of Elmwood. They were apprehensive near members of this other supernatural species because of previous experiences. Nate muttered, "I said, ignore them," and started along the broad sidewalk. She froze, though, just as she was about to turn away. One of the wolves had come into view for her. He was tall, handsome, and trim. He had the same tanned skin, dark hair, and bright green eyes as someone Nate had known in the past. His and hers met in the gaze. She was unable to turn away.

I inquired with a raised eyebrow. He took a sip, "That I'm losing my grip, my pack is an easy hunt, and I've gone mad and should be put out of power." "Wow. Those are some nasty rumors going on." I shook my head, "But what's with you going mad? That's a bit strange." "I believe Cordelia Blackwell, Black Witch, Council sore thorn, and my arch enemy, is my destined mate and Luna sent to me from the Moon Goddess herself after years of searching and looking."
