Willy Wanbilien bekerja sebagai kuli di keluarga kaya. Anak bungsu keluarga itu memilih menjalin cinta dan menikah dengan Willy dibawah penentangan keluarga. Willy selalu dihina sebagai menantu lemah dan miskin. Siapa sangka jika Willy adalah ahli beladiri yang akhirnya menjadi kaya karena keahliannya itu.

Her stance grew guarded as the cruel heart breaker was confessing with vehement emotions stirring in his eyes. "Prove that your intentions are true," she said pushing him back from her personal space. Leaving him drown in her thoughts, she walked away from him. "You are mine Ria. I will prove myself worthy of your love. You belong only to me," he promised to himself watching her retreating figure.

Dan tunanganku, Willy hanya berdiri di samping tanpa menghentikan omongan mereka. Sepertinya dia lupa, aku jadi seperti ini karena menyelamatkannya. Saat kecelakaan itu, akulah yang mendorongnya menjauh dan aku sendiri tertabrak mobil. Saat aku berhasil diselamatkan, Willy pun bersumpah akan menjagaku seumur hidup. Tapi, hanya waktu tiga tahun saja, dia sudah berubah. Ponselku berdering. “Nona Joice, replika jenazahmu sudah selesai. Mohon balas pesan ini untuk konfirmasi, maka layanan kematian palsu akan langsung aktif. Caption yang menyertai hanya satu kalimat, [Sepuluh tahun, akhirnya berhasil.] Semua orang bilang Pak Willy sangat setia, bekerja siang malam selama sepuluh tahun demi menyelamatkanku. Saat perawat dengan mata berkaca-kaca menyerahkan ponselnya padaku, aku sedang menatap garis naik turun di monitor. Mereka tidak tahu, sebenarnya obat itu sudah berhasil kembangkan setahun yang lalu. Dan aku adalah satu-satunya kandidat yang tidak berhak mendapat obat itu.

Novel ini menceritakan tentang tujuh siswa dari Airlangga High School yang ingin menyelamatkan sistem pendidikan di Indonesia yang sudah tertinggal sejak 138 tahun yang lalu. Vaneyza Arasyta, Willy Rafardhan, Ulyn Feanada, Adinda Carissa, Elvano Alvian, Yovieno Stevaga, dan Abian Fairel adalah ketujuh siswa yang akan melakukan apapun, agar semua tujuan mereka tercapai.
