Mated To The Rogue King

Mated To The Rogue King

My heart raced, and I closed my eyes, trying to control the surge, trying to understand what was happening. But it was too much. Too fast. The energy inside me burst free, like a dam breaking under the weight of a roaring river. I cried out, the force shaking the bed, the walls, the very air around me. The chains trembled, then snapped. I fell forward, gasping, my hands free for the first time since Brian had left me. I stared at my wrists in disbelief, the iron shackles lying broken on the floor. I had done it. I had broken them again, no, not just broken them. I had ‘shattered’ them, as though they were made of glass.

GIFT TEEY
Can’t wait to find out what Cara’s decision will be! The suspense is killing me, and the tension in every chapter keeps me on the edge of my seat. If you're into gripping stories with strong female leads and a world full of mystery and danger, I highly recommend this book. Get ready for a wild ride!

first of all, hope Cara gets better treatment in the other park, but i can't imagine getting sent as a sign of goodwill among packs..., anyways i always imagine myself as a werewolf, as this book suits my taste so well.

Shattered chain

Shattered chain

But the memories of our past, the blood we’d shed, the lives we’d taken, followed us like a shadow, no matter how far we tried to run. The drive to the safe house Langford had arranged for us was long and silent. The weight of the decision pressed on my chest, but it wasn’t until we arrived at the remote cabin that I allowed myself to breathe again. Surrounded by nothing but trees and the vast emptiness of the wilderness, I felt the stirrings of something unfamiliar—hope. This could be our chance. To heal. To build something new.

Broken Pieces

Broken Pieces

I say before quickly running upstairs to my room. When I finally found myself to be alone I immediately lock the door behind me before breaking down into tears. I couldn't comprehend what I was feeling in the moment. This feeling was overwhelming and completely foreign so I don’t even know how to deal with it properly. I’ve never had anything like this happen to me. I’ve never been talked to in that manner before. I’ve never been treated like this by a man before. Fresh tears continued to replace the old ones as I try to process my thoughts. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't stop thinking about how Jack called me a slut and how Aubrey just completely left me for

Love is not for the Wolfless

Love is not for the Wolfless

The pain is indescribable. But I don't stop. Hours pass. Maybe days. I pull and pull and pull. And then I hear it. A crack. Small. Almost imperceptible. But there. The chain on my right wrist is weakening. Hope surges through me. I pull harder. Ignoring the pain. Ignoring the burning. Ignoring everything except the need to break free. Another crack. Louder this time. The chain is breaking. Just a little more. Just a little longer.

Rewrite My Fate

Rewrite My Fate

“We won't say anything! We swear to God! Just leave us alone!” I slowly lift my head, open my mouth, and taste the chilly rain on my tongue. It feels like rain in a desert. I know water isn't supposed to have a taste but this tastes so sweet. It feels like life is beginning to course through my veins once again. The doors of the van slams shut. The vehicle roars to life, and disappears into the night, leaving us behind like waste. I’m so fucking broken. I’m hollowed out by three days of absolute terror and starvation. I listen to Natasha cry like a baby while Daniel consoles her. I don't have any tears left to cry. The sky is already crying on my behalf. I take into my system as much of its

Freya Rose Book Four ~ Heartbroken By A Hunter

Freya Rose Book Four ~ Heartbroken By A Hunter

My heart and Mina were excited no more, and they both silently faded away. “Finn? Finnley? Wake up,” I said softly through a mind link. He didn't reply, but he obviously heard me, because he instantly began trying to pull himself up from the ground. He managed to get onto all fours and then crawled like a baby towards a thin white blanket that was in the middle of his chamber. It was heartbreaking to watch him try to move around, he was clearly broken. When he reached the blanket, he sat down on the floor and pulled the blanket up, and tried to wrap it around his naked battered body. As the blanket slid across his skin, part of it turned red as it came into contact with his open wounds. I ga

Obviously the story line is good as I've read up to book 4. I must say I hate Freya a little bit at this point in time but who knows if that will change. Onto book 5. I wonder if that's where it ends for Freya?

words cannot describe how amazing this author is !! I have remained glued to the stories and on the edge of my seat throughout. The books should be in a book store ! I truly hope someone finds these books and makes them into a move as that would be truly exceptional... eagerly awaiting the next book

Inlove With Gay Werewolf

Inlove With Gay Werewolf

I can't find the energy to break it, which makes me hate these stupid drugs that they keep giving me. "You can do this, if you break the tape, then we'll be okay. You need to do this, Henry, I know you can do it," Stephen whispers to me in a calm voice even though l can still hear the tremble beneath his words. I focus for a second before using every ounce of my energy to pull on the tape. When I hear it rip a tiny bit, a sense of hope runs through my body and I keep going. I hear footsteps in the hallway before the huge door creaks open and I freeze, knowing I'll get killed if they see me trying to break out.

A Mate for my Lycan Alpha: His Mate, Her Nightmare

A Mate for my Lycan Alpha: His Mate, Her Nightmare

Asking subtle questions, testing how far I can push before the walls close in again. They think I’m broken. That I’ve been bent so far I can’t unbend. But I’m not broken. I’m becoming sharper. Every insult is a whetstone. Every cruel glance a lesson. Every day I survive in this place, I grow stronger. They took my freedom. They took my safety. They threatened the only thing I love in this world. But they didn’t take me. Not yet. And I swear to the Moon herself, they never will. .....

Blood Moon Rising - The Lumenwild Trials

Blood Moon Rising - The Lumenwild Trials

Not crumbling, but awakening and like something inside it was clawing toward the surface. Riven inhaled sharply. “It’s trying to break free.” Another pulse hit me. My knees buckled. The symbols on my skin flared white-hot. Kyren caught me, holding me upright as the Tear Drop’s glow exploded outward. A voice whispered inside my skull. “Fourth of blood, fourth of moon. What breaks now cannot be undone.” The chamber dissolved into a void of darkness. The boys stood like anchors around me with wings, shadows, claws, and gold.

The Luna's Crown

The Luna's Crown

The window, closed. Locked from outside. Someone nailed it shut while we slept. Someone wanted us to die. I kick it. Once. The glass cracks. Twice. It shatters. Fresh air rushes in. Cold. Clean. Life. "Climb out!" I lift Marcus. He is small. Light. He fits through the broken window, glass tearing his shirt. He doesn't cry. He is brave. He is so brave. I follow. My arm catches on the frame. Glass bites deep. Blood runs down my elbow. I don't stop. I don't look.
