Novel & Cerita Unbroken The Book

Jessica's P.O.V I clutched my aching belly, my steps unsteady as I walked out of the hospital. The sharp smell of disinfectant lingered in the air, a bitter reminder of everything I'd endured. Yet, the betrayal I felt cut deeper than any physical pain. Lucas stood not far away, his familiar gentle smile now belonging to someone else. Lilith’s siblings surrounded her with care and affection, their familial bond evident. They seemed like a real family, while I was just an unwanted guest on the sidelines.

Author's POV In the final chapters of the book, as Aria Crescent De Andrade finally confronts her tormentors, Connor and Vornt, a powerful realization washes over her. Destiny, though disrupted and manipulated, cannot be denied. Aria's journey from a battered and broken she-wolf to a victorious survivor has taught her the strength and resilience that lies within her.

Her instinct told her, this man must be using her but Rachel must be scared and decide to fall back, pull herself from the unexpected danger. The calm demeanor and solitude she showed Rowena, was from the thousands of days she had been through humiliation, sinister remarks and being ignored as human. She is also not a porcelain who is being groomed as a pretty vesel, being appreciated, be liked but would crumble to pieces when it is crushed to hard floor. Cassandra's soul made from a metal, she had burned in fire, being hammered with the reality of life. She can bend, melt, break but she also can back into shape as it burns again and hammers again into the mold she chooses to.

I dragged myself to the bathroom, splashed cold water on my face, and looked at my reflection. Puffy eyes. Pale skin. My lips were cracked and dry. I looked like someone who’d been run over by life and then reversed on for good measure. I didn’t bother with makeup. No point pretending I had it together. Downstairs, the house felt like a shell. My house. The one Damian and I bought after everything I’ve been through. And now here I was, being broken all over again. I made coffee, not because I wanted it, but because it was routine. I needed something normal this morning. Something to hold on to. I didn’t even drink it. Just held the mug, letting the heat seep into my fingers.

I just looked at her confused. "I need a break. I am really overstimulated. Can you just talk to me instead? Mindless chatter. Your favourite book or something?" "Ya, I can do that. My favourite book is conquering rivals. It's about." "Battle strategy." She cut me off and laughed, her magical laugh. I watched her in awe at how such a simple thing seemed to relax her. "Yeah, haha it is." "Maddox made me read it when I was doing my pack life 101 training."

The ground beneath me trembled, and I stumbled, my movements sluggish as if the very air was resisting my attempts to escape. As I struggled to move, the scene shifted, and I found myself standing before our pack house. It was a skeletal structure, its walls blackened by the flames, its windows shattered. The once-familiar entrance was now a gaping maw of darkness. My heart raced as I stepped forward, the weight of grief and loss pressing down on me. I entered the ruined pack house, the air heavy with the acrid scent of smoke. The corridors that had once been bustling with activity were now empty, the echoes of footsteps replaced by the crackling of burning embers.

She forced herself to sleep but it seems like she already had enough on the plane. She decided to just empty her suitcase to pass time then she turned on her laptop and her Messenger started ringing. She forgot to log out. It was Honey calling and since she’s already on the other side of the planet, there’s no reason not to answer the call. ‘They won’t be able to teleport here,’ she thought to herself. “Hon…” “My God Jadanela, finally!" her tone was a bit exaggerated but she was obviously worried. “Did you know we almost turned the island upside down trying to find you? We were all worried, especially Lyken!” she narrated.

Danica POV Dmitry wasn’t lying when he said he would be in late. When I came home last night, the house was empty. I placed the envelope full of money on his dresser. He’d given me enough money for a life time. I hated taking charity from anyone, but Dmitry made it hard to say no. He swopped in at all the right times. Exactly when I needed him. I showered, washed my hair, and pulled out a small book I borrowed from the school library a few weeks ago.

“I prayed and asked for an angel. And my prayers were answered.” “What? Are you saying a miracle happened?” Julia asked. “Yes, I was so sick that when I went to get water, I fell down a flight of steps.” “Oh Lord! I knew I should have never left there alone.” Uncle Yazzy exclaims. “I was badly bruised, and I could not quench my thirst. I must have crawled to the kitchen for water and I collasped in front of the refrigerator door.” “Stop, this sounds awful.” Her auntie said.
