Unmated Novels & Stories

” He asked as I turned to the father. Charity work? Why didn’t I have that information beforehand? Maybe would have been a better approach “What if she never finds a mate? We have been to eight packs and so far no luck. She needs to be ready for anything in case she plans on moving.” The father remarks and you can see her face turn into a frown, Eight packs no mate? Wow. “Do you know what happens to unmated women? She’s only good for—“

" We are not married, not husband wife, Matt. And we certainly are not mates so why do you think I need to report my day's activity to you?" I did not realize just how true my words were until I had uttered them without much thought. Matt and I aren’t mates. We are not married. Heck we are basically just in an aimless relationship with no direction in sight. I am not sure if we would ever get there even at this rate but the point is…

I pleaded "Xena you know what? When uncle comes back you ask him and I think he can explain better." He concluded and left. I so pray this is not about me getting mated to that... Whatever he's name is. I'm not ready to mated to anyone, can't they just understand that and let me be? I know that me refusing to the quest is of the alpha is gonna be really dangerous

I wanted to disappear, to become the Nimue that never existed. But then my gaze shifted to Jin, and Umbra's voice bellowed, equally as forceful as Luna’s, "MATE!” My world tilted on its axis. Two mates? It couldn't be possible. Confusion and disbelief washed over me. How on earth was this possible? How could Luna and Umbra be mated to two people? Where, how was that possible? I had never heard of such before. What the hell was going on with me? My head was rising and falling. The world began to spin around me.

"This pack house has been divided into four parts or say divisions, one for elders, one for the pups with their parents, one for the mated and the other for the unmated. Rose is with the elders and your friend Mavis is with the other mated wolves. This is the unmated part of the pack house." Out of everything that he said, I chose to pick up just one word. "Unmated? As in, I have no mate?" I asked, not sure he just said that. He just looked at me with a where-is-she-going-with-this look on his face. "I have a mate, he's a complete asshole, but he's still a mate. So now that we have that cleared up

‘You may have been unwritten mates but this is what the Luna Goddess wanted all along,” Trinity assured me. “Trinity says I never accepted Cale,” I explained, taking a deep breath. “I never accepted him as my mate. That’s why our bond was never real. But you… you’re…my unwritten mate – Trin says that’s what the Luna Goddess wanted.” ‘The bond will be enforced after we mate with Luca and Amarok and they mark us. Tell him Q.” “I am absolutely not telling him tha-…“ I trailed off, feeling a rush of heat crawl up my neck realizing I responded to Trinity out loud again.

"Why did you do that?" "Wait?" She nods. "I need you to complete me, Tammy," I admit. "I waited because I've seen what happens to werewolves without mate. I've seen how hollow life becomes when they don't have a mate," I explain. "I don't want that to be me. My parents were destined mates, and their bond was beautiful. We were so happy until..." I trail off, unable to talk about my mother's death, and the beginning of my father's change.

She urged, and then I nodded, with a slight smile on my face. I headed out of the garden and stepped into the living room. A few maids were waiting for me, ready to prepare me for the mating ceremony. I followed them to a room, and they began all kinds of body treatment for me until my body was glowing like the moon. The mating ceremony has to be the best, even though we were only inviting core pack members. ~ A few hours later ,the mating ceremony had taken place as it was rushed, and it was successful. Now, Jace and I were in the same bedroom, and for an hour, he hadn’t made any move. He’s probably shy.

“say all you want about me. all I ask is a simple question. why didn’t you just reject me on the spot? What are you not acknowledging the mate bond?” “because it is useless acknowledging something that isn’t even worthy of attention!” he raised his voice. “I will never fall for the mate bond trap. My life will not be tied to just one random stranger, especially not someone like you. that being said, I do not want to have anything to do with you. let it be clear that I have no interest in seeking you out. Telling you I reject you means that I am thinking about you. and you are definitely nowhere in my mind. so keep your distance from me, if you want to keep living under my roof.”

There they are the un-mate able six pack. This is their fifth time attending the mating tradition and if they aren’t mated this time, they have to move to the outlands where all the unmated are sent. If the traditions don’t mate you, then you’re never allowed to mate. I’ve heard horrible things about the outlanders.
