Aurelia's POV A soft knock pulls me out of my slumber and I feel an almost immediate pounding in my head. A groan leaves my mouth and I rub my temples. The door is pushed open and I lay still, not wanting to face my new reality. "Miss Aurelia. Are you awake?" A feminine voice asks and I slowly cover myself with the blanket. "I have been sent to inform you that the doctor would be arriving soon. You need to get ready, ma'am." She speaks again and I open my eyes slowly.

“Unfortunately you can’t do much for her training. But yes, you’re both going to need each other to face things ahead. However, her training is going to be a little more difficult now that her sight is back.” Levantus looks thrown and confused while Odessa tilts her head in consideration. “What do you mean? Odessa getting her sight back should be a strength.” Odessa suddenly realizes what’s being said. “Because vision is a distraction. After not having it for so long, it’s loud in its existence. Being blind, I had to focus on all of my other senses, including internally to survive. She’s saying it’s going to be harder to focus like that with having my eye sight back.”

However, every stroke was just painfully difficult with my blurred vision. Just then, a familiar voice sounded from outside the door. "Julia, are you okay? I heard you were hospitalized due to an injury." I froze in shock, and the shaky hand I had been sketching with halted, too. The voice was unmistakably Leah's. I jerked my head in the direction of the door. Despite my blurry vision, I could still make out that the person standing before me was Leah—but wasn't she supposed to be dead?

Lorenzo cleared his throat, "Yes." He firmly said, raising his chin up. Bonnie only shrugged, "Alright." They went downstairs and sat on the huge leather couch. Lorenzo switched on the TV and handed the blindfold to Bonnie. "Care to help?" She smiled and took the blindfold from him. Bonnie put the blindfold over his eyes and he turned around making it easier for Bonnie to tie it.

With my blurred vision, I was incapable of distinguishing anything more than their vague shapes. I slowly hoist my tired body up into a sitting position, leaning my body against the headpost, rubbing my eyes at the same time in an endeavor to clear my cloudy vision. This time my vision was very clear but still a bit dim, so blinking rapidly, I tried to adjust to a bright ray surrounding the room.

At least for now they had delayed the scorpions’ advance on them, or so they thought. Ahead of them, Crone was floating in the air, looking down on them. “So, after all that you said, you’re just going to run?” The Hunters did not stop the raptors but they heard what he said. This made Crone a little mad. “Tch! Don’t ignore me! [Wind Blade]!” Upon casting, an invisible blade of wind sliced at the legs of the raptors. The raptors stumbled over and threw the Hunters off. After crashing on the sand, the Hunters slowly got up one by one, their attention towards one person.
