I sighed, “I should have been more careful and attentive. If I had not fainted after touching the Crystal Moon and before Anji took it, maybe this would have not happened.” The sorceress raised an eyebrow as she asked, “You fainted?” I nodded, “Yes. I touched the Crystal Moon and I felt a sharp pain like I was hit by lightning. Then, I became dizzy and fainted.” The sorceress's face lit up with a smile. Hastily, she skimmed through the pages of a book and read out loud, “Feeling a jolt of pain, like he was hit by lightning, he became dizzy and fainted. Thus, the Crystal Moon had chosen him as the next guardian with its power connected to him.”

I start to list down the items and even though it leaves some of the guards confused on what I want to do, they still listen attentively. I need crushed marigold petals, a candle, a dagger, and most importantly, water from a stream that faces the moon every night.” Once they set out to get the items, I tell the woman to bring an item that belongs to the little boy and then I bring out my own crystal. It’s a clear quartz crystal that Rhience got me as one of my wedding gifts. They come back after an hour and I begin the ritual with all of them watching.

mask back on. "Mina," Sera called out. The girl didn't respond at first. She was staring at me, her eyes flat and unreadable. Sera sighed. Sera swallowed, her throat moving in a hard gulp. "Mina. Bring the record." I watched as Mina shuffled toward one of the trunks in the corner. She pulled out a small, jagged piece of stone. No, not stone. A recording crystal. My heart hit the back of my throat. Crystals like that were rare, expensive, and mostly used by the Southern spies. How the hell did they have one in a place like this?

If I failed tonight, Edward’s chance would fade with it. I climbed the ridge that overlooked the city. The moon was just beginning to rise, silver and soft. I pulled the crystal from my pocket, a rare one Edward had given me once, saying it reminded him of my eyes. “Guess it’s finally useful,” I said softly, smiling to myself. When the moonlight hit the crystal, it shimmered, then pulsed. I whispered the incantation Bibi had given me, altering the runes just slightly the way my instincts told me.

The interior of the Lunar Spire was humming—a low, rhythmic vibration that Leo felt in his marrow. The Origin Crystal sat before him, a multi-faceted diamond the size of a human heart, pulsing with the condensed consciousness of every living soul on Earth. "Leo, the lunar crust is starting to fracture!" Meilin’s voice screamed in his mind, distorted by the rising static. "The moment you break the seal on that crystal, the mass-displacement will trigger a kinetic chain reaction. The moon won't just move—it will shatter."

This was even a friendly fight, what more is it if it was a real one. “What kind of powers do you have? What does that beast hold?” “Keisuke is this Era’s legendary beast. My powers comes from a crystal. I’m supposed to have one crystal— the central crystal of Yami. Then one day, Hanabi gave her crystal, Hikari’s crystal to me. No matter what the King do, it doesn’t exit my body. My crystal was taken and I almost lost it until I summon up the courage to take it back. Now the two crystal stays with me, recognizing me as their master.”

The coven wanted to get closer, as did Esmee and Rodolf, attracted by its power. ‘Stay away from it!’ Moon warned fiercely. Her look was concerned, but her eyes also sparkled with the appeal of the crystal. Maddie took it in her hand and turned to Omem, Liza, Anke and Jente. Esmee had Rodolfs hand. ‘Chriostail dhubh mura h-eil e (Black crystal if not clear) Seall do dath fhíor (Show your true colors) Air a ghlacadh ann am boghafrois

Ezra’s P.O.V I placed the moon crystals in a circle around myself, keeping to my position right at the centre of the circle. The crystals all looked like tiny full moons, all in perfect rounds in a beautiful milky white colour and bearing some kind of black marbling on them. Even though the moon was no longer full or at its brightest, it still held power. As the Shrine Maiden, I could harness that power and bestow it upon my Alpha and my packmates, making them stronger, more resilient to the rogues and powerful in their own right.

"I am defined by my choices. And I choose to fight. I choose to hope. I choose to love." The vision shattered like glass, and Sophia found herself back in the chamber. The guardian nodded slowly. "You have proven worthy," it said. "The Crystal is yours." Sophia approached the crystal, feeling its power radiating toward her. She reached out and grasped it, and a surge of energy flowed through her body. She felt the protective magic of the Moon Goddess flowing through her, felt her mind becoming a fortress that no Memory Walker could penetrate. "I have it," she said, her voice filled with determination.
