he told her as Zelina stood beside him and bent down to Elena's eyes level. "Haven't you been told this before, Elena, that Demon's aren't to be trusted? They are cunning and will lead you on without you knowing they are leading you to their trap." Zelina said and brought her face closer to Elena, then she sucked out Elena's soul from her, and without putting out much fight, Elena died immediately her soul left her body. Then Zelina straightens up and looks at Chaos. "You did well." She praised him, making Chaos happy. It remained Aragorn who was struggling to remove himself from Chaos black mist.

They are regrouping in the Ash Vale. If you want to end this, come alone. — J_ Kael read over her shoulder. “J?” he said. “Joren?” Elena shook her head. “Joren’s dead. I killed him.” “Then who?” Elena folded the letter slowly. “I don’t know,” she said. “But I’m going to find out.” Kael’s jaw tightened. “Alone?” Elena met his eyes. “Alone,” she said. Kael didn’t argue. He just nodded.

"Elena is sweet and naive. She couldn't run a lemonade stand, let alone a consulting firm." "What if we were wrong about Elena?" I asked. "What if she wasn't as naive as we thought?" "Marcus, you're being paranoid," Sophia said. "Elena was completely devastated when she thought you died. I saw her at the hospital. She was crying and heartbroken." "Was she?" I asked. "Or was she acting?" The question hung in the air between us. I could see doubt starting to creep into their eyes. "Think about it," I continued. "How did Victor find out about my death so quickly? How did he know to come to Elena's apartment that day?"

“You had a partner?” Elena didn’t react to the tone. “Yes.” Victor asked the question that mattered. “What happened to him?” The room stilled again. Because this time the silence wasn’t about strategy. It was about memory. “He died,” Elena said. Lucian froze. “What?” Cassandra didn’t interrupt. Rowan’s voice lowered. “You’re sure?” Elena nodded. “I saw it.” That should have ended it. But it didn’t. Because the system in front of them wasn’t built by someone who was gone.

she hissed. “Elena, I…” “Because of you…!” She suddenly hollered, and I flinched unconsciously. She took a deep breath as she turned fully to look at me, her eyes were many things, and all of them were tired She looked like she had been bottling a lot of words or emotions in. “Because of you, I lost him! He died right when he bloomed and even before I could feel him! You… Darius… You killed him!” She cried, frantically. And I just stood still, my mouth opened agape. Thinking… and wondering, what she meant by that.

“Find Kael.” He nodded and in minutes he turned toward me. “He's in trouble, he's by the boundary, a few minutes from here but he have to hurry if we want to stop her.” I cocked my head to the side. “Her?” “Yes, he says that Luca is dead and Elena took his powers and wants revenge.” For some reasons hearing that it was Elena who was behind all of this made me feel even sicker. Luca could be reasoned with, but Elena? Elena was the devil. “Let's go,” I said as I tore in the direction of the boundary.

The dead were waking. Maya sat in the dim library, staring blankly at an open book she hadn't read a single page of. Her posture was entirely subdued, her shoulders slumped, her spirit visibly deflated. A soft, imperceptible rustle of silk cut through the room. Suddenly, the freezing air warmed up just a fraction as Elena materialized from the shadows behind the armchair. The ancient vampire initially remained silent. Her piercing silver eyes examined Maya, instantly sensing the significant change in her heartbeat. Elena’s heightened senses detected the faint, moist scent of the northern woods on Maya’s jacket, combined with the sharp, salty smell of dried tears.

Through the chaos, I saw Richard disappearing into the flames, his laughter fading into the roar. And in the last flicker before the world went dark, I heard Alexander shouting my name “Elena!” Then everything vanished into fire. --- Elena’s power erupts uncontrollably, revealing the first glimpse of “Project Rebirth” the experiment that ties her death, Richard’s manipulation, and Alexander’s hidden past together.

He was so fast I could not even run past the guards before he caught up to me. " You filthy bitch." He said, jerking my hands. " Let go of me!" I screamed, my voice echoed through the hall catching the attention of people around us. It was just like a cinema. As soon as we got to the great altar, he made the statement. " I, Jayden Morningstar, Alpha of Silver Stone pack, reject Elena Nightingale as my Mate!" His words cut through me like a blade. And at that moment, I felt a sharp energy slowly seeping out of my body. My chest tightened, air escaping through my lungs. And for a moment I forgot how to breathe. I stared as a small smirk appeared across his lips.

gone. Yes, I had killed my father and taken his power but he left me no choice. That reminded me of why I did all of this and I spun around, my eyes flitting wildly amongst the pile of bodies in the hallway. Looking for Elena. I spotted her on the far side of the wall, blood running down her head and her left leg lay limp in a strange manner. When one of my father's men had carelessly flung Elena to the other side and caused her pain, he had just signed their death sentence.
