’ Alaric kept thinking about all this when he heard some footsteps. He silently heard what they were talking about. “Boss!! We have found two dead bodies of vampires. Only one is bitten by a werewolf, and another…wait… there is one more.” A man kept speaking, and Alaric sensed that it was a human but a human having so much knowledge about the supernatural creature. That meant only one thing, HUNTERS. Alaric watched how a group of hunters was giving details to their BOSS and showed them all the evidence that they could find. He felt it was useless and thought to leave when he heard.

She titled herself and glanced at the Hunters, then said maniacally, "Now where are we?" "Ah yes. You're all going to die here." She declared at the rabid wolf and to the Hunters in front of her. The Hunters glanced at each other. Even with thick armor Vesper could hear their trembling hearts. "There's a Vampire in the manor?" One of the Hunters asks in confusion. As the word left his mouth, a loud bang echoed in the hallway. Now the bullet penetrated their armor and the Hunter fell to the ground and never got up. Blood gushed on the floor. The body starts flying as the shooters shoot them vigorously.

There's moisture in the heavy air before the rain and the smells linger. I have to try to block out everything about Ara to try to see beyond her. It was humans. More than one. They were carrying guns. There's a whisk of aftershave and cheap perfume. Alcohol. Sweat. Despite the urgency of the situation, a smile forms on my lips. "Keep it steady!" I regained my footing between the bags, aimed, then took another two shots. One hit his upper arm, the other his shoulder, but he kept coming, unfazed by the gushing holes. I shifted my weight onto my other foot and grinned. I might not have stopped him, but the Thornblood dipped bullets had punctured him, binding shade and host to the same satisfying fate. I fired one last time, hitting him strait between his soulless eyes.
