"We need to see this." She dragged me in with the crowd and we found ourselves in the main parlour. My parents were already standing where they normally did for meetings and I searched for Adrian but didn't see him.

He leaned on his forearms, yawned and picked up his mobile phone from the table beside the bed. " 8am. " He yawned again, he would be studying in two hours. He pushed the sheets away from his body without wanting to, the softness caused him to never get out of bed. I stopped once on the way out and took a last look at the bed then close the door behind me, wishing that I could close off my memories as easily as I could close off the room. I approached the edge of the trees and saw one person standing outside on the front porch of Levi's grandmother's home.
